Great place to stay!
We enjoyed staying here for our first visit to Carlton Landing! Perfect for couple or small family. My son enjoyed the loft area and porch swing! The bathroom is small especially the shower but enough for quick place to stay. House had everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Would recommend!

Cute place but...
Cute place but there was mold/mildew upstairs in the loft from the AC leaking, and the shower was pretty dirty. It didn't look like it had been cleaned as there were a couple partial water bottles sitting around. We left a day early as we didn't feel very comfortable.

Relaxing winter getaway
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend where we could have a combination of talking, “hiking”, reading, playing games, being outside, and watching movies. This house in Carlton Landing provided all of these things. We loved our experience and will be back to Carlton landing in the future. We came in late winter and there was hardly anyone else in town. If you are looking for seclusion and peace, this is the time to go. A sweet little coffee shop with amazing breakfast casserole and rocking chairs looking over the lake make for a perfect morning. We loved watching movies by the fireplace in the evenings. The home was supplied with fire starters for those of us not outdoorsy. The house was precious and well taken care of for the most part. I would say there were a couple of small inconveniences (broken handle on fireplace, broken hairdryer, tiny shower-would not recommend for a family with larger statures, and the king mattress is super soft causing sinkage and discomfort for our backs). Overall it was wonderful and we would come back. We just might try a place with a larger shower and possible tub combo. But this is pure preference. We loved the weekend.

Great girls night!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property for a quick 1 night trip with just the girls. Super cute, just know, there is no bathroom downstairs, only 1 upstairs which was not a big deal for us. This was the only rental that offered a 1 night stay & we were super happy with this home. Otherwise, we would not have been able to stay at all. We would definitely come back to this one!

The Perfect Cottage!
We couldn't have loved this place more. The architecture is phenomenal, the location is perfect, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the host was very communicative and helpful! Highly recommend for a couple or small family.

We recently stayed at this cute little cottage and loved everything about our stay! The house was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals and the accommodations were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
