“This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.”

“A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby……

“VERY outdated! The pictures make it seem more modern than it is but old wardrobes, old curtains, old hairdryer, old desk and chairs. The corridors are very old and smell of cigarette smoke. The bed was dirty with what looked like blood stain and white stains on the head board. Windows were very thin and I could hear the traffic clearly. ”

“Stayed overnight as was at family event at the wonderful Evadere Escape Room at Edenfield. Was great room, wonderful breakfast and lovely team. Lovely views too.”

“Lots of onsite parking and hotel adjacent to the pub. Very pleasant staff all round and good selection of beers. Food was good quality and very hot. Breakfast was great and a wide selection to choose from. Our room was ground floor as requested and was nice and warm. Very large bed and whole room and bathroom was excellent. Great value for money and will definitely be back on our next trip to Wigan.”

“I have very terrible experience, they couldn’t provide me the invoice while I check out and didn’t send by email either. I called them and asked again but I received nothing.”

“We were given a room in the courtyard area no43, It was small for 2 people It smelled musty and damp The wallpaper on the outside wall was blistered.One end of the radiator, the thermostat end, was tied to the wall with a plastic tie wrap.The window was to high to reach to open There is no lift in the main part of the house or the Courtyard rooms.No43 is on the ground floor”
