From the outside it doesn't look like a nice hotel but inside its really nice. Its an old Premier Inn with the same purple interior and well looked after. Really nice guy at the check in desk, nice pub next door, free parking and a 20 min walk into Chorley town.

I honestly can't understand why this hotel is rated as well as it is showing online. When travelling I always stayed here previously but it has been a significant time since my last stay when it was a Premier Inn. The room on the lower floor had an odour of urine and felt damp. The bed mattress was worn with no support. Thankfully The bedding was clean. The room overall was oversized and felt damp. The shower had a small cockroach looking insect residing. And the door had no security latch and overall the property did not feel secure. I had booked for 4 nights, I left after the first night. I later found out the hotel was used as an Asylum Hotel and has been run down for a while. Expedia assisted with an early departure,.well so I thought; to be told 6 days after leaving that the hotel will not refund me (although I have screenshots saying otherwise) Overall don't waste your money and time with Expedia.

Stayed here on a stopover when travelling up to the Lakes. Didn't check in until after midnight and had left by 9am. Quick check in, comfy bed, quiet room. All spot on for what we needed.
