「From the moment we arrived I knew it was the right decision. The description of the property was as written. If you want beauty, comfort, privacy from hustle and bustle this was the place. Susan and John were wonderful hosts as described by others. Sparrow was a delight to play with. My only disappointment was we didn’t get to spend more time at the house as our itinerary was jam packed. But waking every morning to hummingbirds was a delight. 「What a great place! Son, mother, grandmother trip with dog. Plenty of space and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. It is right off main road with train nearby, but that is disclosed in listing. I slept with window open and while I heard the trains, it was not that disruptive. A few restaurants in Gold Bar and several hikes and water time were greatly enjoyed. 」

「Mt two children and I enjoyed our stay at John Paul’s place. This is a new renovation, so everything is very clean and new. Lake Serene was very pleasant and the host provides a kayak for two, standup paddleboards and two pedal boats. My children really enjoyed paddling around the lake and it made them sleep very well.
