Hotel was ok. Appeared very clean. Alot of outside noise throughout the night. Alot of banging and other noises that we have no idea what was Caicos them. A car pulled up around midnight with is stereo blaring and sat in the parking lot for about an hour. Seemed a little sketchy. Not sure i would stay here again.

Great service

Bookclub trip to attend Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird annual festival Hotel was a great location for getting to and from Monroeville square. Friendly staff. The evening Front desk staff even made a fresh pot of coffee when we returned from play. Rooms clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay here again.

Southern Comfort and Hospitality

Nice place, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Free breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, toast muffins, cereal, yogart something for everyone.

They are pet friendly but our room was really clean. I appreciate that they are doing renovations but it isn’t loud at all this evening. We had an area to walk our two small pups. It is a very convenient, quiet, and much better than expected room.

I evacuated Louisiana because of hurricane Francine, with my elderly mom and small dog. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the free, full breakfast every morning. The room was clean, large, and the AC worked well. I particularly appreciated the microwave and refrigerator. Our evacuation /stay away from home was quite pleasant. Thanks.

The queen size mattress was terrible/ sunken in and needed to be replaced. There was also several persons hanging outside in the parking lot keeping up noises and constant loitering in the parking lot from non tenants/ guests. Absolutely terrible and I will NOT ever book a best western property Again.

The exterior of the hotel appeared clean and well maintained. However the bathroom caulk and grout was dirty around the edges. Only one of the three bath towels looked fresh and clean. One had green a green leafy substance on it and another bath towel looked like it had be left on the shelf by the last guest. There was also some hair on the top of the toilet seat.

Do not give stay here!!!

Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The tub was not clean. I asked for extra towels was informed the towels could only be exchanged. We could hear other outside. At one point we thought someone was coming in our room. The continental breakfast closes at 9:00. Myself and other guest were unaware and were turned away. I do not recommend. Try the mockingbird next door!!! They’re more affordable , cleaner, and their customer service makes you feel welcomed and not like a nuisance.

A bad experience - had to check-out with my family after three hours, due to terrible condition of hotel and pool area. I was not expecting Best Western to provide such shoddy service. The bedroom smelled strongly of tobacco smoke and was not very clean, with old furniture. The pool was closed but I was advised to use the neighbouring hotel's one, as both hotels have the same owner. It was horrible - filthy area with broken tiles on pool and broken furniture. Expedia were helpful but the hotel refuses to refund my stay, despite understanding the problems.

The hotels outward appearance was great. That was the highlight. My room was smelly and unkempt. The carpet needed replacing and the beds were ridiculous. Bed bugs saggy mattresses and smelly stained pillows. The shower area was worse with the tub not only being dirty but the tub itself was cracked and peeling. Fixtures were dirty and even the towels were stained. There were visible spider webs hanging from the ceiling over the bed and mold and or mildew was also visible throughout the ceiling. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I would have done better sleeping in my car.

I wasn’t happy when I removed the pillows from my bed and there was a bug crawling around on the bed! Also when my husband turned the ceiling fan off it was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year! The lighting in the room is HORRIBLE for a woman trying to put on makeup. Motels aren’t just for men you know. My biggest complaint is the old (dirty) toilet that was SO low I had to hold onto the door handles and pull myself up!!!! My husband is a very fit man and even he had trouble getting up off it. We couldn’t believe how low the it was! My gosh people, spend $200 and put a damn toilet in that EVERY person can use! I won’t be using this motel again, that’s for sure!!

I do like the fact that they were able to accommodate our party with side by side rooms and the hospitality of the staff was pleasant. Does seem like they need to do a little room upgrades, but the rooms were comfortable.
