Located about 5 km off of the main highway 1, it was a great central place to take in some of the Golden Circle sights and also going down to Vik and the Black Sand Beach. "This was a great house for trips to the Golden circle, and one longer drive to Vik. The kitchen was nice and functional, and or two kids liked their room. You can see the mountain and the power plant from the room, we never managed to your the power plant, next time... Checking in and out requires walking or running to the house if you don't have a means of texting in Iceland. This would normally be fine, but it was a rainy and windy day, so it added a bit of discomfort. Not an issue if you can...
