“The Orient Jakarta Hideaway is a stylish, well-run hotel with a lot of personality. The design is genuinely chic—leather, aged wood, local art, and thoughtfully curated historical photos that make the whole place feel warm and intentional. The library in particular is stunning, and I found myself spending time there just to take it in. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and amenities like the pool area felt properly staffed rather than “hands-off.”
