"The absence of sheets and towels with no clear advance notice was very inconvenient. We were traveling from North America and the expectation that we would bring our own sheets and towels is incredible. When we tried to rent the "towel and sheets" package we were told it was not available. Also, we were misinformed when we sought the dimensions for the duvets and were told simply that the size was "normal" or "routine". Hence, our duvet covers did not fit and the sleeping was not comfortable.The information regarding parking in the guest book was incomprehensible and the map was so small that it was impossible to read. When I tried to make contact and sought to rely on the claim that one could get help 24/7 I discovered that was, in fact, not true. I repeatedly got emails stating the I had received answers to my messages but that was substantively not true. I hired this cottage because it was a vacation rental by owner but that also was not true. Instead I had to deal with Novasol, which clearly was not the owner but a commercial agency, which didn't provide live help but instead sent automatic responses to my queries. Finally, you should be aware that the downstairs shower did not work because it was virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. Also, the toilets both had rust rings that we tried to clean with cleansers. "

"Good hotel right on water. Room comfortable, modern and clean. Breakfast was also nice selection. Free bike hire and easy 4km cycle into the pretty town."

"Our two teenage daughters, got to live out there princess dreams! Ask reception how to get into the tower - it’s a hike, but the view is amazing! The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home) Both our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean! Based on reviews, we had decided not to have dinner at the castle, but there are some cute options near. We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens. There was a lovely free feeling to being able to roam the property and gardens. If you’re traveling through Fyn, I would add this as a stop (it was our daughter‘s favorite part of the trip)"
