Etwas älter - aber gut!

Ein sauberes Zimmer erwartete mich, auch wenn es optisch an „alte Zeiten“ erinnerte, habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service war gut und den Kaffee habe ich zum Frühstück sehr gern genossen.

Hôtel au calme / propre. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Le gérant a du mal à nous trouver notre réservation sur son ordinateur. Il ne nous attendait pas. Il apparut que le prix affiché par Hotels.com de 120 € pour 2 nuits était incorrect. Le gérant nous a proposé le prix de 140 € (prix correct de la chambre avec double lit et lit pliable complémentaire), mais en nous proposant pour ce prix l'appartement 2 pcs plus vaste et plus confortable avec trois lits, ce que nous avons accepté. Nous considérons ceci comme une bonne geste commerciale. Vu que le petit déjeuner bien garni et copieux était inclus dans le prix de la chambre, le rapport qualité prix était au rendez-vous. L'environnement est très calme et l'air était saine. Hotel n'est pas loin de Koblenz, seulement 14 km. Nous pouvons recommander cette hôtel.

Von außen macht es schon keinen guten Eindruck, das Haus ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer waren sauber aber die Tapete fällt von der Wand, das Bad hätte eine Grund Sanierung nötig! Woher eine Bewertung von 8,0 kommt, keine Ahnung Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich

Der Besitzer war sehr nett und freundlich, aber beim eintreten empfing uns ein übler Geruch der sich durch das ganze Hotel zog. Es roch nach altem Keller. Die Möbel sind zusammen gewürfelt und sehr alt und teilweise kaput. Unsere Schranktüre wurde durch ein Stück Papier zu gehalten. Das Frühstück war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig , nur der kaffee war sehr gut

Friendly reception, correct breakfast are the only things can remark this budget small hotel with positive side. Out of hot water is something we never meet, it takes us nearly one hour to waiting for shower. Get sleep in midi night, and wake up in the early morning because the sunlight spread over all.

Very nice stay. Unusual quaint room hidden away up 4 steps but with kitchen and comfortable. Everything you need! Wonderful restaurant within walking distance and a cute town.

Budget Accommodation, but no complaints.

This is a low-price hotel and the apartments/rooms reflect that. The equipment and standards of furnishings in the room are best described as 'basic', but it was clean and comfortable enough. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. The location is great - the Lahn valley is beautiful and this is a good base to explore from. If you need budget accommodation in this area then this hotel is fine - just don't expect anything very luxurious.

I booked a basic room as it was the only available on Hotels.Com. and I needed to be in the area. As always you get what you pay for. The room was in the middle of two others on a shared balcony. Two men either side were talking, drinking and smoking until late and I needed to leave the window open for air on a very hot night. The smell of smoke was unpleasant and i eventually closed the window in order to sleep. As I just got to sleep I was disturbed by water dripping through the ceiling onto the floor and eventually onto my bed. I contacted reception and learnt that it was the upstairs shower. Although the lady was apologetic she did not want to change my room as she said the hotel was full. I actually doubted that in in view of the amount of cars in the parking area. However, I was not in the mood to argue at this point so we turned the wet mattress over and I slept on top of a duvet. I listened to the water dripping into a bucket for the next half hour. Bad experience overall.

Excellent value for money

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. It was our base as we made roadtrips around the areas closeby. We enjoyed this hotel very much! The staff was really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. Rooms offered basic needs and was cleaned daily but there was no air conditioning and soundbroofing wasn't that good. Location was great. It took about 20 minutes to drive to Koblenz but one could also go there by train, as the train station was in 15 minutes of walk. Trains left the station in every one hour. The nearest place to get dinner was in couple of minutes of walk away. I warmly recommend this hotel for those who seek this kind of easy going and cute bed and breakfast style hotel.
