"We rented a house attached to the resort and it was fabulous. It slept 9 and the rooms all had bathrooms attached. Kitchen, laundry, living room and a small backyard for the toddler. We had full access to the hotel's facilities and used the pool a lot. It was great. No complaints . The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would book this again and not hesitate "

"This place gets excellent reviews and we are sure that others have been very satisfied. However, when we arrived it was obvious that no one had been inside to ensure that everything was clean before we came. The owners live on site, so we are not sure why this would be.The place was full of living and long dead spiders. There was bird poop all over the floors and countertops. There was even dried bird poop on the pillow. There was also dirty laundry in the laundry machine. The bathroom was filthy. It looked like a gas station bathroom. We were immediately turned off so much that we decided to leave.We told the owner that we understood that cancelling our stay meant that we had no right to a refund. We did not ask for our money back, but said we would appreciate it if they would consider it.Not once did the owner apologize for the state of the place. Instead she said that a swallow must have gotten in and what should we expect from a country property. She said that we could go out for an hour and she would clean it up for us. Since she had no sense of remorse or responsibility for the situation we lost all confidence and told her we would not be staying. She told us that she needs renters to keep the roof over their heads. IOW, she was trying to make us feel like the bad guys.We are very reasonable people. We did not demand any money back. What made us most upset about this experience was that the owner never apologized and made us feel like we were unreasonable."
