"Amazing! Renovations are awesome. Pool was gorgeous and food is excellent. They have a new chef, new menu and pool side bar. Very accommodating. We live in the area and came here as a staycation with the pool the last week of summer. Staff is lovely and grounds are lovely as well. Maria the owner was very attentive and went out of her way for guests. Great place-they have come a long way. A true gem in Norwalk-the breakfast is delicious too "

"10/10 highly recommended. It’s my go to since it was Hotel Zero. It’s my all time favorite. I only missed staying here and stay somewhere else for 2 reason, they are full or the price is too much. I love the new looks, very calm, clean, comfortable. Staff is always courteous and informative. The new phone magnet stand is absolutely smart! "

"The room was very nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the little desk and chair. There was a little caddy with a yoga mat and some other excercise things and some clorox wipes which I loved. I only stayed for one night, but there also is a 24 hour gym I was told at the desk, and a snack and drink bar accessible in the lobby. The room was just enough space to move comfortably but wasn’t too big. It was a perfect little stay and just what I needed to save myself some driving time for a trip the next morning. Also is pet friendly, which is very cool."

"Staff was wonderful and helpful. Had a quiet comfortable room overlooking the courtyard. I requested a microwave which they brought up and came in handy to heat up leftovers from dining out. There are signs posted regarding quiet time hours which was appreciated. It's convenient to I95 via the connector and the Merritt Pkwy, a must if you fly into Westchester airport. Would highly recommend."

"Beautiful, open and lovely home! We hosted our Mental & Spiritual Wellness Retreat here. It was selcluted for privacy, and we had a comfortable large space for our group. The owner's communication was outstanding and very supportive. We can wait to use this space again."

"Every step of the way from initial inquiries to farewell messages was a delight. Questions were kindly and promptly answered, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind about our stay even before we arrived.The Ice Cream cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. All the little things that make traveling a breeze are here: plenty of (shaded!) parking, easy access, great air conditioning (we visited in the summer), wonderful wifi, impeccable cleanliness, fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and luxurious towels.For a "small" cottage, the layout is perfect for families. There are plenty of comfortable places for everyone to relax together or alone.We were looking for a place where our dogs would be welcome and have space to play. The Ice Cream cottage is a dream come true! The huge fenced-in yard was dog heaven and a delight for the humans, too--not a sign of a pesky gnat or mosquito! Over three days and many hours outside with the dogs, we never found a single tick. The covered porch was perfect for relaxing meals as the dogs safely explored the yard.New Canaan has plenty of options for delicious food, and while we did get takeaway one night, we prepared our own food the rest of the time. There are great market choices from large chains to an excellent local grocery store. We needed an urgent pharmacy visit at 3:00 a.m. during our visit, and there is a 24-hour CVS only 20 minutes away.We're looking forward to visiting again!"
