A Reel Good Time is located in the Central Rockies not far from many of your favorite outdoor activities, and is less than 35 miles from Breckenridge! This home is the perfect home base for skiing, rafting, hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain climbing and horseback riding just to name a few of the things you can enjoy from this convenient location. Starlink high-speed internet and a home office space with desk & chair were added to the home as a new amenity, which means you can work from here or just enjoy the space to relax and unwind!

From the moment you enter the Great Room with it's majestic stone hearth around the wood burning fireplace and the wall of windows, you will take in the panoramic views of the mountains, an alpine valley and Reinecker Ridge. You can relax on the comfortable couches, watch the large, flat screen television and relax with furry friends and family alike. The dining space shares the amazing panoramic views, with walkout access to the propane grill and a convenient coffee & tea station. Right next to the dining area, the full-service kitchen has all of the modern appliances and cooking gadgets needed to create your favorite gourmet meal. There is plentiful counter space and high-top seating for two at the bar.

Down the mid-level hallway, you'll find the Central Bathroom and two spacious Bedrooms. Each bright and cheerful bedroom offers large windows, a plush queen size bed fitted with our cozy cotton bed linens, and spacious closet and dresser storage. The Central Bathroom features a standard vanity, toilet and bathtub/shower combo, so you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or sink in for a long, hot soak after all the activities that a day in the Colorado Rocky Mountains may afford.

Up the stairs to the open Loft you'll find the Master Suite. This space offers the shared views of the Great Room along with woodland views through large loft windows. Enjoy custom log furniture, a plush King size bed and two standard Twin beds all fitted with our cozy cotton bed linens, and an En Suite Bathroom. The En Suite Bathroom features a standard vanity, toilet and bathtub/shower combo.

Down the steps to the ground floor is the Entertainment Room, with a foosball table, comfortable seating around a full size poker table and a flat screen television above the electric fireplace. The Office space has a large desk facing a bright window, walkout access through the french doors and a large kennel for your pets so they have a place to rest and a furry orthopedic bed for those who need it. The ground floor Bedroom has large windows, a comfy King size bed and spacious closet space. The Central ground floor Bathroom offers a standard vanity, toilet and bathtub/shower combo. The home has a full size washer and dryer available for guest use - so no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town.

Relax on the Wrap-Around Porch with a gas grill, a propane fire pit and comfortable outdoor seating, where you can enjoy the views of Reinecker Ridge, Mt. Silverheels, grazing wildlife, and epic stars at night.

In the summer, A Reel Good Time puts you near a variety of well known Colorado trout rivers and streams. Access to the Middle Fork of the South Platte River is 15 minutes away at Tomahawk Wildlife Area with additional public access points on the Middle Fork just 30-45 minutes away. The Dream Stream is 45 minutes away, as are the tailwaters of Tarryall Creek outside of Jefferson. The Arkansas River, 45+ minutes away, has plenty of public access. You may arrange fishing on private waters through various local guides.For Hunting, this cabin is located in GMU 50 for hunting access in that GMU as well as nearby GMUs 500, 501, 58 & 49.

In the winter months, A Reel Good Time is less than 35 miles from Breckenridge Ski Resort, 55 miles from Cooper Mountain and 70 miles from Vail.

Many of the famous attractions are just a short day trip away from the home including Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Maroon Bells/Aspen (not accessible in Winter), Vail and many more.

* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx. 9,396 ft. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system and may have variability in taste, smell or mineral content based on time of year and usage.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* This home is pet friendly. We charge a $50 fee for each pet, and all pets must be approved. This fee is not included in the quoted rate, and will be charged after the booking is confirmed or the day of arrival on the reservation.
