"My family enjoyed the stay, the owner was very prompt in adding a travel crib for me. He went out of his way to bring it over extremely quickly after i inquired about it. The rental is setup as a duplex, and the two units do bring some unknowns. My family enjoyed the natural light from the windows and the large kitchen area. We did find the single couch too small for our family of four and we missed not having a kitchen table to eat at."

"The house is very cute and in a great neighborhood. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. Check in and check out easy. I think a house manual would have been helpful. We are tech savvy but the tv was difficult for all of us to figured out. We couldn’t find dish towels. We ate out but still had a few dishes to wash up after coffee or snacks. I didn’t want to run the dishwasher for a few cups or glasses, so ended up using paper towels. Definitely would stay here again."

Highlights were the game room downstairs even though the pool table needs balancing. Also the hot tub was awesome at night particularly, try the lights and the water features. "I got this place while staying for a night with friends , we were sold on the hot tub in the listing but when we got there it turns out there was no hotub , they refunded us and we found another place to stay and they we're very understanding and got back to us fast ! Outside of wanting a hot tub this place was so cute and perfect to stay in for a night , would definitely recommend or consider staying again , little tough to find at first since it's tucked away , friendly neighbors ."

"Overall this property was very nice. The lower level was pretty cold, so we were not able to use it. We did visit during an ice storm, so I believe it would be easily utilized in the spring, summer and fall. The property has a slight grade down to the entrance from the driveway because of the ice storm we were unable to get our vehicle out without contacting the host. "The apartment was in the basement of the home. It was clean and well appointed. My only issue is my wife and I are tall...6'3 and 5'10. A shorter person would not have to dodge the support beams...LOL! Other than that and not seeing the cats it was a very comfortable stay."

"I was so excited to stay at Vicki's place as it looks amazing. But I made a huge mistake when I booked it, as I was going to Portland, Maine and Vicki was in Portland, Oregon. I did not realize my error until I arrived in Portland, Maine. Vicki was so sweet and offered to refund the amount paid minus the fees and taxes that VRBO keeps. I hope to someone get to Portland and stay at her beautiful home."

"The walkable neighborhood was beautiful. We stayed in late April and everything was in bloom in the neighborhood gardens. Restaurants and vintage stores abound. Grocery store in walking distance. Pulling out of the driveway was tricky due to the traffic but we had one of us guide us out each time. This place is old and interesting, creaky stairs and old hardwood floors. "Nice spot in historic Irvington neighborhood with bus stop, coffee shops, restaurants, and brew pubs all within walking distance. Mark was incredibly responsive to all my questions. Apartment was clean and comfortable with more than enough natural light. Washer/dryer was nice to have, too. Would not hesitate to stay here again."
