Fabulous stay

Beautiful villa in a very peaceful village with an amazing view. Genuine and hospitable host, reflecting the character of the region which is possibly the most hospitable culture i have ever encountered. Couldnt recommend highly enough.

Spacious home

Our stay was amazing! The house is clean, spacious and has fabulous views. The pool is was the perfect place to relax after a day of beach or exploring. Definitely need a car but roads in area are all excellent. Vagelis is a great communicator and met us to go over all the details. He had water in the fridge and even told us about a wonderful open market we greatly enjoyed. Thanks for a great trip!

Best pool ever

We spent one beautyful week in villa Petra and we were so sad to leave... Our twins (6 years old) loved the pool and the big garden, and we too. And we are thankful for such a great hospitalty. Vangelis was reachable every time. When we arrived the fridge was full with fruits. And when we leaved he gave us honey. There were no wishes open.

The vacation was a dream !!!

The sea view from the upper terrace is simply breathtaking. The pool is a good size and very welcome in the hot weather. The garden is large, well-kept, and beautiful. There are numerous relaxing shady spots on the property. The beds are very comfortable. Wi-Fi works perfectly. A fantastic, large villa with traditional furnishings. We lacked for nothing. The village is very remote. Shopping facilities are easily accessible by car. The island's inhabitants are super friendly and helpful. Vagelis and Stella, your honey and oil are amazing. Ein wirkliches Paradies

Alles war perfekt. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und unaufdringlicher Gastgeber. Großes Haus ist wie beschrieben, nette Willkommensgeschenke. Pool und Garten super. Alles für den täglichen Bedarf ist vorhanden. Wunderbarer Blick auf das Meer und die Berge in ländliche Umgebung und trotzdem zentral. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis von 35 Minuten Fahrzeit. Strände ebenso. Auto erforderlich. Tolle Tavernen in den Nachbarorten.

Wundervolles Haus mit großem, gepflegten Garten

Es war ein großartiger Aufenthalt! Und alles genau wie beschrieben. Ein ruhiges, altes Haus, sehr gepflegt und dazu dieser großzügige Garten mit Pool und Orangen-, Mandarinen - und Granatapfelbäumen. Tolle Lage! Und ein immer freundlicher und erteichbarer Vermieter.

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool und Aussicht

In Griechenland heißt jedes Gartenhaus als Feriendomizils „Villa“. Diese hier ist aber tatsächlich eine Villa mit gediegenen alten Möbeln. Mit schönen Garten, gefliestem Pool und einer sehr schönen Terrasse und Aussicht auf die Südküste. Die Ausstattung liess keine Wünsche offen. Sehr nette Vermieter. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

gepflegte Villa in toller Lage

Wir verbrachten Ende Juli zwei sehr erholsame Wochen in der Villa. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, wenn auch etwas älter, einzig eine etwas umfangreichere Küchenausstattung wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, der Vermieter ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Danke für das leckere EIs und den tollen Honig sowie das Willkommenspaket im Kühlschrank. Der Ort ist ruhig gelegen mit einer tollen Sicht auf Berge und Meer. Der Pool und die Aussenanlage wurden gern genutzt. Im Rückblick ein gelungener Urlaub, wir kommen gern wieder.

Wunderbarer Garten

Der Aufenthalt in Vagelis Elternhaus im Dorf hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Wohnung, die wir bewohnt haben (es ist die größere der beiden mit 2 Schlafräumen) war liebevoll bestückt - so wie es andere schon berichtet haben. Vagelis ist zuverlässig und sehr freundlich. Der Garten mit dem kleinen Pool ist wunderbar und konnte von uns auch schon im April genutzt werden. Der Sternenhimmel ist fantastisch, der Blick ebenso, die nächtliche Stille auch - wenn nicht manchmal ein Hund die Nacht durchbellt. Von diesen Einschränkungen abgesehen, hatten wir dennoch eine schöne Zeit, haben vor allem den Garten sehr genossen, der paradiesisch ist.

5 Sterne für Villa & Gastgeber

Als wir abends gegen 22 Uhr ankamen, hat uns unser Gastgeber Vangelis schon in der Villa Petra erwartet. Er erklärte uns alles in Haus und Garten und war auch in den kommenden Tagen jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Der Kühlschrank war reichlich gefüllt mit frischem Obst und Gemüse, es gab Brot, Süßigkeiten, Kaffee, Tee, Wasser und Wein. Auch von seinem leckeren Olivenöl war ausreichend vorhanden, sogar Waschmittel, Weichspüler, Spülertabs - alles sehr liebevoll und großzügig vorbereitet. Die Bäder in beiden Etagen sind klein aber funktional, die Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Der Garten mit dem Pool ist grandios, abends wunderschön beleuchtet. Von dort und der Terrasse im Obergeschoss gibt es eine phantastische Sicht bis zum Meer. Und jeden Abend haben wir die Rufe der Zwergohreulen gehört. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Villa Petra, senden nochmals herzliche Dankesgrüße an Vangelis.

Villa Perla - grandios

Die Anlage ist ein Traumidyll. Ein riesiger Garten mit beheizbarem Pool war für unsere Enkelkinder, neben den täglich geernteten Grantäpfeln das Größte. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns der Hausherr, Vageliss, alles gezeigt. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit kühlen Getränken, Gurken und Tomaten. Auf dem Tisch stand eine Schale mit Obst. Wir fühlten uns gleich sehr wohl. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen hatten wir eine wundervolle Woche und haben Land und Leute kennengelernt. Nochmals vielen Dank für Alles

Une location exceptionnelle

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par VANGELI le propriétaire des lieux, un brlle personne, aux petits soins pour ses locataires mais très discret. Des provisions diverses nous attendaient, offertes , du jamais vu en ce qui nous concerne ( fruits et légumes, cafés et thés différents, vin, huile de sa production et j'en passe...) Nous avons profité du jardin paradisiaque et de la piscine malgré la fraîcheur due au tout début de saison (mauvais temps la semaine precedente), mais nous avons quand même nagé plusieurs fois. Le petit déjeuner avec vue sur la mer et les montagne le matin vous met de bonne humeur. Le village est accueillant. Merci encore à VANGELI

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit in diesem Haus. Schon der Empfang mit Obst, Gemüse, köstlichstem Olivenöl ( wovon jede von uns zum Abschied eine Flasche geschenkt bekam - nochmal danke, Vagelis) und Wein war ungewöhnlich. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum zu jeder Tageszeit. Der weitläufige Garten mit den leckeren Kumquats, Orangen und Zitronen und den vielen Ecken, in die man sich zurückziehen kann, machen dieses Haus zu etwas Besonderem. Auch den Pool haben wir genutzt, obwohl es noch ein bisschen kühl war. Kalochorafitis ist ein idealer Ort als Start für Wanderungen und auch zum Meer ist es nicht weit - ein Auto ist aber zu empfehlen, auch wenn man nach Vori ins Restaurant zu Fuß gehen kann.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Während der zwei Wochen hier auf Kreta haben wir uns in diesem Ferienhaus einfach nur wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe ausgestattet und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Vor allem der wunderschöne Garten mit einem tollen Pool hat uns, auch verglichen mit anderen Ferienhäusern, am meisten beeindruckt. Den Blick auf das Meer am Morgen und den Sonnenuntergang am Abend konnten wir jeden Tag richtig genießen - eine einfach unfassbare Atmosphäre!!! Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank voll befüllt, der Tisch mit einem vollen Obstkorb ausgestattet und auch selbst hergestelles, herrlich schmeckendes Olivenöl stand uns direkt zur Verfügung - wir mussten uns also am ersten Tag keine Sorgen um Verpflegung machen! Wir können es nur nochmal wiederholen: Vielen Dank! Das Ferienhaus und der aufmerksame Service durch Vagelis hat unseren Urlaub perfekt abgerundet - wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder. Ein paar Tipps: In Voroi haben wir oft im Kapileio und auch bei Alekos zu Abend gegessen und können beide Lokale sehr empfehlen. Wochenmärkte sind in Timbaki am Freitag Vormittag und in Mires am Samstag Vormittag.
