"getting in was a bit of a hassle, did not get the code at first, but once we were in, so glad it worked out. Very cute cottage, very clean, lots of nice thoughtful extra items to use in case you forgot something. You could here the creek from the front porch and the backyard had a lot of nice areas to sit, and fun to explore all the extras, even though we did not have much time to enjoy it. "Very clean, very quiet, and super chill. Ate meals on the patio with lovely views over the fields and mountains in good weather, and curled up cozy inside while the weather was wet. Easy access to a lot of places - spent some time in Charles Town, went to a craft fair nearby, headed to Berryville for another craft festival, and spent a day in Harper’s Ferry, all without spending more than 30 mins in the car at a time."

"loved this property, secluded, quiet. Had everything we needed, coffee makers, utensils, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, to name a few. a couple of miles of the main road, but very scenic. Only negative, (and wasn't really a negative), the road to Harpers Ferry was out, had to use detour, and extra 20 minute drive, but was a beautiful detour drive!"

"The property itself was good. The main concern was the neighbors across the street continually set off their car alarms and cussed at us when we were entering the property. They had a sign that was offensive painted on a car facing the house. We did not feel safe in the home."

"Beautiful property with lovely views! We saw a fox, deer, and geese. Nicely secluded, but still close to major cities and great base-camp for sightseeing in the area. Upstairs can get a bit warm, master bedroom mattress is very firm (some may not like that), and 3rd bedroom mattress was uncomfortable according to my college aged daughters. Overall fabulous stay. Owner communication was great too! My husband said he would buy the property if it came up for sale."

"We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
