「Came for a weekend away and to enjoy some of The Office sights. The house is cute and located in a quiet neighborhood with many things provided and yet was close enough to the downtown. The hosts communicated well and left a helpful binder and snacks. Thanks for a great stay!」

The house is beautiful and well furnished. There are multiple coffee stations and plenty of places to gather. The neighborhood is excellent. We had people driving in from all over the Northeast and Scranton was the perfect central location.」

「This house was in a great location with awesome lakefront views while maintaining privacy, which is super rare for a lake property. I loved the historic charm and updates.The fall colors on the lake were incredible and a welcome sight to wake up to. A couple of notes that I did not pick up from the listing: the house is separated from the lake by a road and the boat house is in pretty rough shape, but this house was something special and we would recommend anyone to stay there.」

「The property was in a beautiful location! It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Even though the property was off the beaten path, there was a lot to do within 15-30 min drive. The host made great suggestions of what to see in the area! I would definitely stay at this property again. Maybe during the summer months to enjoy the lake a bit more, but I have no complaints!」

「The home is cute and was comfortable for our needs. It was clean and decorated nicely and had everything we needed. TVs galore, air conditioning and outstanding enclosed sun porch. It was minutes away from the University of Scranton. We enjoyed our 3 day stay for our daughters graduation.」

「Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.」

「House is decored like museum with lot of antique look like pieces and lot of furniture. Bed rooms are spead between 2nd floor and basement, most of the bedroom have individual air conditioner except bedrooms in basement. Kitchen is big enough with lot of utensils to cook your own food. Good enough light in the kitchen. Dining table is only for 8 people though total capacity of the house to stay is 23. Overall place is fine for the money you pay and if you are not looking for modern new look...

「Spruce Haven is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place for family gatherings. It had everything right there that we all like to do. The home was clean and tidy. 「Well we arrived a day late as this was a work trip did not ask for a refund or anything.. upon arriving the house was 80+degrees with no a/c available.. so we start to unpack putting groceries away bathroom stuff etc etc. one of my employees likes coffee so he starts the process to find mold and left over coffee in pot… I was like ohhh someone overlooked it.. than I start to make dinner as we drove all night from Florida..the pots and 1/2 the dishes were in dishwasher including silverware.. so I...

「Place was dirty no cable tv mold in bathroom. I was shocked to be honest but with a little tlc this would be a very nice place to stay.」
