This was our second stay at Fancy Gap Mountain Escape. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and when we arrived, there was a "Happy Birthday" banner hanging up in the kitchen. Linda and Michael are exceptional hosts. They were readily available when I had a question or a need. The view is breathtaking. Diamond and Patty, the dogs, are so sweet! We will be back!

Great getaway!!

Great place to getaway and enjoy peace and quiet. The people we rented from was super nice, I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away but still somewhat close to places to eat and go to.

Our family had a wonderful time! The view from the deck is breathtaking. We enjoyed sunsets, sunrises, and so much time outside. The kids loved walking to the creek and s'mores by the fire. We can't wait to come back.

Linda & Michael have a cozy vacation home. It sits on a mountain with exceptional views. Great for a dog to run around too!! Close to Blue Ridge Pkwy. I will be back, loved it.

Perfect quiet get away

Fully stocked home! Ow ers thought of everything! We sat for hours on the covered back porch viewing the mountains. Total peace and quiet yet 5 minutes to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this place for 2 or for a large family!

Linda was fantastic! I didn't even realize I left something behind, but she contacted me so she could send it to me. The property was very quaint and private and a wonderful view of the mountains. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The house has a homey feeling. Beautiful view. Cows in the meadow. Linda is great. She came to visit us and brought her lab. And she loves people to pet and play with her. If you’re looking for solitude but wineries close to visit... this is the place to stay.

We reach the property and was meet by Linda and her family including the friendly Lola ( the pooch ) The House is very comfortable, clean and quiet . Blue Ridge Mountain relaxing

Great views and wonderful hosts. Linda and Michael greeted us on arrival and are available if needed. The rental was very comfortable spacious and well stocked with necessary items and some added bonus items such as coffee, a shout out to them for that. The views from the porch are amazing and with the weather changes you could see a rainbow as we did. While we stayed we visited many spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Airy NC, Galax, Hillsville and Floyd, for music venues, dinning, farmers market, winery, shopping and museums. Enjoyed it and looking forward to returning.
