terrible experience due to weather

impression of this property was great but due to Hurricane Helene. we ended up with no electricity or water. We spent 1 nite to go to Mayberry days. Then came back to the parkway being closed due o downed trees an still no water or electricity so we came home instead of staying the complete time of our reservation. We thought the property was very nice, and would like to finish out our time because we love the area up there. However we didn't see the chance of staying longer without water or electricity

Good property, but check in was odd

My family got to the property and the owners were there and seemongly forgot that we were coming. We had to wait about 45 minites for them to get packed up. There was a smoke detector beeping and they said they hoped we could deal with that. We could not as we have people in the family with a strong sensitivity to repetitive noise so we took it down. The property itself is very nice and we did have a good time dispite a rocky start.
