「We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water pressure could have been better, but we managed. It was so quiet & peaceful that we hated to leave!」

「To start its a storage building not a tiny cabin. It looks like host or someone is staying there while they are working on house next door. So close you can see in windows. He was working that day, so no peace and quiet. Air didnt cool. Stayed 5 hours and went home. Worst birthday gift ever. Dont waste your time or money.」

「Wonderful place. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit. Loved cooking and just hanging out on the larger porch during the rain storm. 」

「Things sometimes happen for a reason and pivots were made and my parents were able to spend a wonderful time at Laurel Thicket, will have to come back and try Creekside for another weekend getaway soon! 」

「The cabin was beautiful and stocked very well. The view from the deck is spectacular. It’s a very nice place to relax and unwind. Yes you need a 4wd to get up to the house but once you are there it is peaceful and a place worth staying. We enjoyed our stay! 」

「The place is beautiful with an awesome view, but be aware that there is no ac on lower level. If your a biker, yes there is an asphalt road, but it is worn and access to driveway is tricky due to strong incline. Not for amateurs. It does have a carport. We were able to fit 2 bikes, a single bike trailer and pickup.We did have a great time.」

「This is the best stay we have had in a very long time! Betty was so generous and accommodating. Even if you forgot one small detail Betty has it. A great example, my daughter had a hole in one of her stuffed animals and was so upset because I said I don’t have anything to sew it with. Well, sure enough Betty had it in the house! Crisis solved and my daughter was happy. We will definitely come back and recommend this house for a stay!」
