“I couldn’t get checked in until well past the published check in time. The room charges were overpriced from my perspective. I made the reservation to be able to take advantage of the rooftop restaurant. However it was closed for a wedding party. If I had known when making the reservation I would have driven down to Canton instead. My room faced the street, and the room was not well insulated for sound suppression. When the bars closed you could hear people talking and cars on the road.……

“The facilities are outdated, and the soundproofing is very poor.”

“Everything was perfect, We will stay at this hotel again.”

“Older hotel. Broken dresser in our room and paint splatters everywhere. We had to switch the knob back and forth for the ac unit (it had one knob for both controls) Mattress was awful. Sheets felt like sandpaper. Good thing it was cheap.”

“The staff was very nice. The room was clean but some things needed attention. The ac unit was stuck in a hole in the wall. It’s remote didn’t work so Ihad to sit in the floor to get low enough to change the temp. The tv remote also didn’t work so the only way to change stations was to stand at the tv and physically push the button. Doable but a bit annoying.”

“Interior accommodations couldn't be better. Play room is awesome, but could use wall mirrors. ;) Exterior was a bit rougher than expected. Seat cushions are weathered, door mat heavily worn, etc... Could use a little TLC so the outside matches the nearly perfect inside. Overall, great place and would recommend highly.”

“For 2 nights, was ok. Microwave was nasty, in & outside. Fan in bathroom was extremely dirty & dusty. A few hairs in the tub & wall of shower. Air conditioner & TV worked just fine, bed, sink, countertop, floor all clean. 2 baggies with tea in them, but 1 was open. I may have misread, but no hair blower/ dryer. Staff was friendly!”

“It’s a great property and a very beautiful view.”

“Imagine finding a quaint, historic bed & breakfast just steps away from restaurants, bars, shops — and even a sight-seeing train to hop on. It’s all here at the Blue Ridge Inn. The staff is fabulous and the rooms are a great mix of old with modern conveniences that you just can’t find very often.”

“Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat……

“The rooms where very. clean.”

“The cabin I stayed in on willow creek drive - waterfalls and it was so beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed my one night stay and will be booking again. Thanks for having such a nice area to have a peace mind and the hot tub was excellent. So relaxing!”

“This was the absolute perfect retreat to ascend the mountain and kayak the Toccoa River. This hostess is beyond accommodating, responsive and kind. You will find yourself in a still, quiet, extremely peaceful place to re-center and be reminded of the One who created you to experience His glory through creation!”

“Great stay! Clean house with great amenities. The host communicates well and even gave some advise on the area.”

“We enjoyed our stay. We were wanting privacy, fishing & nature Do read all the details. I did know there would be steps but if you are mobility sensitive just know to bring your supports. Wifi was good for occasionally checking in but streaming anything was not practical. It was exactly what we needed. Host was very responsive. At&t has absolutely no signal there. Would visit again.”

“Its a beautiful A beautiful cabin in a great location and a good view. Owners are very responsive if you need anything. The water pressure washer the best ive ever seen in any place ive stayed.”

“We found the property to be beautiful and exactly as we expected. The owners were kind and happy to help with knowledge regarding the area and with fishing. I really appreciate the opportunity to spend our vacation at River Mist and perhaps again someday.”
