「This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning.」

「El Porxo is a beautifully furnished house with excellent beds, bed linen, towels, dressing gowns and slippers. Everywhere is super clean, including the large pool. Lovely well maintained gardens to relax in and a gorgeous dining terrace. The owner is delightful. We’ll definitely return if we come back to Girona.」

「Lovely! Would stay again despite that it is doesn’t offer the usual services you expect from a full hotel. I guess this is simply down to cost paring. They must have got a huge architect bill to build this and which went well over budget and they are cutting services to save cash. Not great for guests.」

El Spa muy bien mantenido y super relajante. 100/100 recomendado!! Hay una parte del camino para llegar hasta allí que no está asfaltado por lo que el terreno es irregular. No obstante, ha sido una estancia que nos ha encantado.」

「We had a wonderful stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor is spare, in a good way. Clean and minimal. The food was delicious, and they happily accommodated our request for vegetarian meals. They offered good recommendations for hiking areas. The property caters to cyclists, which we did not realize and have nothing to do with, but it was perfect for us on a couples sightseeing vacation as well. 」

Wir hatten ein großes und helles Zimmer. Das große Bett war sehr bequem. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Das spanische Frühstück am nächsten Morgen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. So startet man gut in den Tag. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Auch wenn das Hotel abends kein Restaurant bietet, so...
