House "Do Castelo", built in 2007, surrounded by meadows and fields. 5.5 km from the centre of São Brás de Alportel, 14 km from the sea, in the countryside. Private: natural state property 1'800 m2 (fenced) with lawn and wildlife garden, orchard, swimming pool (6 x 3 m, depth 100 - 180 cm, seasonal availability: 01.Jan. - 31.Dec.) with salt-electrolysis pool-cleaning system. Shower/WC in the pool area, pool house with cooking stove, parking on the premises. Shop 5.5 km, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 4 km, bus stop 100 m, sandy beach "Fuzeta" 14 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km, indoor swimming pool 6 km. Tennis 6 km.
"Do Castelo", 4-room house 90 m2. Beautiful and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table and satellite TV. Excellent place with a little room for improvement

The house is very clean, the reception has been excellent (but only in Portuguese). The equipment is complete (except for a second parasol) and functioning, but a bit worn down. The design is ok, basic. The environment is peaceful, agricultural; shopping facilities are nearby (15 min by car). The beach has been too far away for us going there every day. Some nice towns around (especially Loulé).

Excellent Villa, Quiet Location

We have just stayed at the villa for 10 days. Booking and communication was quick and straight forward. The villa and contents are better than described. Very clean and spacious. The outside areas and garden were one of the largest areas we have had when hiring a villa. Plenty of seating areas and options when spending time outside. Being inland and a more rural setting the area was very peaceful and relaxing. We even spotted a Bonelli's Eagle . Good internet, good parking. Cecilia and her husband were very welcoming. Thank you. Belles vacances en famille au calme

Propriété bien tenue et propre, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances. Très pratique même à 6 personnes, avec 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain. Seul petit hic: la personne qui acceuille qui parle exclusivement portuguais, ce qui lilite fortement la communication.

Casa agradável, proprietários com muitas regras

A casa é excelente, ideal para quem tiver crianças e quiser mesmo relaxar, está no meio do nada, há muito silencio. Fica um pouco longe das praias. Ficamos apenas um pouco incomodados com os recados que íamos recebendo dos proprietários, apresentaram-nos imensas regras, que nos fizeram sentir estar numa casa emprestada e não numa casa alugada. As regras não apareciam quando alugamos, caso contrario não iriamos para lá. Todos os anos alugamos casa no algarve e nunca nos aconteceu isto. Ou porque tínhamos de lavar bem antes de ir a piscina por causa do protetor solar, tínhamos de fechar o guarda sol, e outras regras evitáveis...foram lá 3 vezes e 3 vezes levamos recados, se falássemos inglês, certamente seria diferente...e no final a chamada de atenção do uso da churrasqueira que ficou com cinza e devíamos limpar era evitável, deixamos a casa impecável, loiça lavada e tudo arrumado. Internet muito fraca e rede de telemóvel também fraco. Não voltamos lá concerteza.

Super semaine de vacances

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette maison. Tout le confort s’y trouve et la piscine est top. Cuisine équipée, 2 terrasses à l’ombre pour déjeuner, espace pour garer véhicule sur la propriété. Rien à redire, la maison est située dans les terres donc il y fait plus chaud que sur la côte mais la maison dispose de la climatisation dans toutes les pièces ! Idéale pour une famille, la maison est de plain-pied. Une petite remarque à faire, il faudrait plus de transats (il y en a 4 pour 6) et plus de parasols (il y en a qu’un). A recommander !

Really peaceful relaxing time.

The villa was perfect for us. We take elderly parents away with us, therefore the villa being on one level is ideal. The villa is well appointed with all modern amenities, clean and spacious with good seating areas inside and outside. The pool was situated in the garden area and was not overlooked and remained very clean. A car is essential as it makes Sao Bras, Taveria and the surrounding towns and restaurants easily accessible. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this villa is perfect.

Sehr schönes Haus!

Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb, ist aber gut zu erreichen. Ein sehr schönes Anwesen mit herrlichem Garten. Die Betreuung vor Ort war super. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der näheren Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.👍
