Great place

Perfect location near a couple of the finest restaurants, near train and bus stations. Short walk to tourist locations and restaurants. The stairs were a bit hard for an oldster like me but my daughter had no issues. Will stay again.

Comfortable apartment close to public transport

The apartment is a short walk from the railway and bus stations, and not much further is central Faro and the harbour.It has a lovely large balcony which we could not use unfortunately because of the poor weather when we were there

Lovely apartment

We loved the apartment. Very clean, very comfortable couches and beds. Nice big balcony overlooking the city plus the river in the view. Great area for walking anywhere, plus just a couple blocks from the Train.

Our Visit to Faro

Faro was the third and final stop on our visit to Portugal. Our host Ivan has made the check in process easy. There were two surprises on arrival; the large number of stairs and one of the bathrooms being on a different floor than the bedroom. Other than these surprises the property was clean and the view was spectacular. This property was in a great location and made it easy for our team to explore the Algarve coast with the train station in walking distance. Thanks to Ivan for being a good host. Archie and team

Terrible experience

My husband and I, couldn’t check in until 2hrs past checking time. Once we found the correct apartment we had a hard time opening the door because the cleaning lady had her key inside the latch. Once she let us in, we were welcome with smell of cigarettes. The carpet in the living room was not clean, I guess she didn’t get enough time to clean the whole apartment. I have booked with VRBO quite often and never had an unpleasant experience like this one. This apartment was my third booking with VRBO, in the past week . How ever, it was the first worst experience out of all my entire bookings.

Faro Trip

Nice Faro Apartment!

Bella met us outside the building where we parked in a “no parking “ zone to drop off the luggage. She’s great! Gave us a very detailed and enthusiastic tour of the apartment. It was sparkling clean! We really liked all of the artwork, live plants, and view from the deck. Bed is very comfortable and two full baths a luxury. Communication was good. Be prepared for lots of steps! Town center was just a few minutes walk. Recommend a sunset cruise. This is not a booze cruise but a nature preserve outing. Peaceful and wonderful! Thanks Ivan and Bella!!

Faro apartment- great location.

Great location, minutes from train and bus station and short bus ride from airport. But also very walkable city. Had a problem with ants in kitchen that was quickly rectified by the owner. Terrace is actually on second floor not off the kitchen.

Everything was exactly as it appeared in the ad, and Ivan was very easy to communicate with. We were very pleased with everything ... except for the smell. Everywhere was very clean, but there is a sewage smell in the bathrooms and under the kitchen sink. I think the problem is with the plumbing, and it did affect the quality of our stay.

Faro villa was great

Ivan was very accommodating as a host. Came at 2:30am to pick us up at the bus station and check us in Came back on our leave date at 4am to take us to the airport. Even though the villa was only about a 5 min walk from the bus terminal because we had lots of luggage. If you like to cook while you are on vacation the kitchen is a dream. Villa is very centrally located to the metro area and tons of shopping, markets and restaurants. Worth every penny of the stay.

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs bien accueillis par Felis qui nous a fait un rapide tour des environs de l’appartement. Celui ci est situĂ© Ă  quelques minutes du centre-ville mais suffisamment loin pour ne pas ĂȘtre dĂ©rangĂ©s par les noctambules. Le quartier nous a paru tranquille tout au long de notre sĂ©jour. L’appartement est situĂ© au 3Ăšme Ă©tage sans ascenseur. Il est composĂ© au 1er niveau d’une trĂšs grande cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e, d’un wc et d’un sĂ©jour avec un canapĂ© trĂšs confortable. Au 2Ăšme niveau, il y a une grande chambre principale Ă©quipĂ©e d’une tv et une deuxiĂšme chambre un peu plus petite qui donne accĂšs Ă  la terrasse. Les matelas sont plutĂŽt fermes mais confortables. Il y a Ă©galement une salle de bain avec douche et wc. Globalement l’appartement Ă©tait trĂšs propre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© le petit cadeau de bienvenue. En points d'amĂ©lioration, il faudrait rĂ©nover les salles d’eau qui bien que bien entretenues dĂ©gageaient par moment de fortes odeurs d’égout (problĂšme de siphon qui se vide). Pour Ă©tendre le linge, il ne faut pas avoir le vertige. Un Ă©tendoir serait apprĂ©ciĂ©. Pour profiter au mieux de la terrasse, il faudrait un plateau pour y porter de quoi prendre le petit dĂ©jeuner, l’apero ou le repas. Pour information, le commerce recommandĂ©e par l'hĂŽte se trouve Ă  10 minutes Ă  pieds. Si vous louez une voiture, sachez qu’il n’est pas aisĂ© de trouver une place de stationnement. En conclusion, nous recommandons cet appartement spacieux, fonctionnel, plutĂŽt confortable et bien situĂ©.
