Beautiful Riverfront Home

Looking for a relaxing and peaceful get away? Look no further! The Tobacco riverfront home in Farwell is serene yet provides all the conveniences of home. A fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals. Cozy, layered beds and an indoor electric fireplace. Sit on the deck, or in the dining room and enjoy the view of the river. Downtown Clare is just a 5 minute drive with plenty of shops and restaurants. CMU and Soaring Eagle casino are 25 minutes away.
Located on the Tobacco River which is known for trout. Most of the year it is fairly shallow. This home shares a large yard with another one of our properties. The deck has a cushioned patio set so that you can enjoy the view and sounds of the river. Along with a propane grill for summer meals. Inside you will find a large dining room open to the eat in kitchen and living area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need for a home cooked meal. The bathroom will have essential toiletries. We provide all linens and several throw blankets to ensure you're always comfy. The bedrooms both have their own TV and noise machine to combat any road noise light sleepers may hear. One of the best things about this cabin is its proximity to downtown Clare. Just a five minute drive to so many amazing restaurants and cute shops. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a memorable get away for you and your family or friends.

Birthday getaway

Adorable cabin, "Up North" feel but close to home! Perfect couple of nights away to relax. Beautiful way to watch the snow fall over the from the cozy cabin.

The house was great including the deck. We felt that the river pictures were to old to be accurate. I expected more room to river fish but there are too many trees down to fish easily. The online pictures need to be updated to present an accurate picture. But this is the only downside to the trip. Nice property.

Great stay!

The house is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay! The creek in the backyard was very relaxing and just a short drive to charming downtown Clare! The only downside was the busy road and traffic noise. We would stay again!

Nice getaway

Very beautiful cabin. Just what we needed to getvaway for a few days!! Absolutely love the entire decor. The sound of the river was so peaceful.

Peaceful getaway

We had a wonderful time, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The location was convenient as it was close to town but still felt remote/private. The morning we left we saw 6 deer in the river, which was really cool. We would definitely stay here again.

Property owners were very attentive. All my questions were answered immediately. Lots of rest and relaxation for us and that's all we wanted!! Beds were extremely comfortable giving us good night sleeps!! We even saw the Northern lights!!!

Time out in paradise

My husband and I , with our dogs, stayed 9 days at this rental. The place is beautiful, serene and well stocked with the “best” of everything. The views are spectacular, the river babbles at your feet. The fall colors would be amazing.

Really lovely spot for a quiet week

This cabin is gorgeous! I was there for the week with my dog and we had a great time playing on the property, enjoying the beautiful river, exploring the towns nearby and cozying up indoors! They have everything needed for a comfortable stay and surpassed my expectations for a cabin getaway with the small touches that make all the difference. Getting in and out of the property is easy as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Great peaceful getaway

We began our vacation camping for a few days and I wanted something different for the second half. The directions to get in are easy. The cabin itself was clean, charming and well appointed. One can tell this place is cared for. We enjoyed last days on the deck watching and listening to the river, went into town for food and a stroll. Highly recommend this place!

Peaceful Winter Weekend

We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful home on a river! The house is gorgeous and comfortable! We had everything we needed. The living room is surrounded by windows looking out to the river and one morning we saw a doe walking along the bank.❤️. Our 15 year old is already asking when we can go back. Highly, highly recommend this house for a getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The cabin contained everything you could need. The river was nice and our fur baby really enjoyed it. I didn't give 5 stars all the way across because the outdoor up keep really needs some care. It is over grown compared to the pictures in the listing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cabin on the river

The cabin was just as pictured. The check in process was very easy. The property manager was very responsive as we got up Friday morning and the refrigerator had stopped working over night. They promptly found an electrician who had fixed the problem by that afternoon. There was some traffic noise from the highway that was fairly close but overall it was a great experience.

A peaceful, relaxing weekend getaway

This beautiful riverfront property was the perfect weekend getaway spot! We felt welcomed the moment we walked inside. The house had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. A little gem tucked inside the woods, but also only 5 mins away from the cute downtown area. I had the best sleep, enjoyed drinking coffee by the river and relaxing with my family. This was a pet friendly house, which was even better to take our dog with us! Our son loved exploring outside, throwing acorns in the river and running around. This beautiful home would be perfect to stay at rain or shine! We will definitely be coming back and look forward to another stay!

Close to Everything

My husband and I stayed at Sean’s place for the weekend to attend a concert at the Soaring Eagle which was a short drive. We also went to downtown Clare to watch the Michigan game and that was a quick 5 minutes away. I fell in love with cabin and any concern that I had was answered quickly. But it could use some maintenance and organizing. The outside needs a good cleaning up as well. We wish that the TV would have received local stations. The fireplace kept going out and then we couldn’t get it to work at all. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and our puppy enjoyed stepping into the creek. The people staying prior to us did not clean up their dogs mess so that was disrespectful on their part but overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely visit again. The cabin is a place that I could see myself living. So thank you Sean for your hospitality.
