“This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes……

“Because of a large party, there initially was no parking. Staff initially made no effort to help. Again, because of large party, we were given very little attention when trying to check in. “Very much a travel hotel convenient to airport and highway. In a mixed industrial agricultural area. Mountain view nice. Staff helpful but hotel sparing on extras, like a kettle or coffeemaker in room. Room had stale smell of cigarette smoke. A/c good. Breakfast good but not real dairy in coffeemaker. Comfortable room except for stale smoke smell. Window opens. Quiet, at least on mountain/field side.”

The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. The hotel itself was impeccable...from the friendly and helpful wait staff, gorgeously furnished rooms, fantastic restaurant and bar with wonderful food and desserts, a great spa with excellent services to choose from, and very thoughtful and eco conscious design. I LOVED my stay there and……
