Very comfortable and peaceful Finca

Our family stayed at the Finca very recently and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space the rooms were really comfortable and well equipped and the pool was lovely we spent a lot of time there as it was so hot. Catalina was so lovely and friendly and very helpful whenever we needed her advice, we went to a couple of places she recommended to eat and we all had wonderful meals. I can't recommend it high enough we would definately go back again. Thank you Catalina x

Beautiful home

We loved our holiday at this place in Mallorca. The house has everything you might need for a fabulous and quite vacation. Children loved being around the sheep and looking at the stars every night. The communication with the owner was great. Highly recommended.

Sa Clota Nova - thank You Catalina!

The place is silent and cosy. Everything is valuabel and in a very good shape - starting with the beds and ending withe the large pool. We started to the coves and beaches quite every day and Felanitx is located not to far away to the Es Trenc but even to Cala Mesquida. Finally we highly recommend the very friendly and familiar hosting by Catalina!

Ruhe und Entspannung in idyllischer Lage

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns gleich gut betreut. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und war absolut sauber. Die gesamte Ausstattung ist ohne Mängel. Wir haben ausgiebig den Pool, die Grillecke und die Terasse genutzt - herrlich in dieser Ruhe zu frühstücken oder zu Abend zu essen. Die Vermieterin Catalina hat sich oder ihren Mann immer angekündigt, bevor sie zu Wartungen oder zum Wechseln der Bettwäsche und Handtücher kam. Ein wirklich schönes Plätzchen Erde! Für Kinder gibt es - mal abgesehen vom Pool - viel zu entdecken. Natur, Schafe und Geckos, die Abends im Schein der Lampen auf Entdeckungen lauern. Als Standort für Ausflüge an die Strände der Ostküste ist das Haus ideal. Fazit: Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub in einem tollen Haus. Empfehlenswert!

Beautiful property in idyllic location

We have just returned from a very relaxing holiday in this Finca - Sa Clota Nova. The house was very well maintained and very clean just as described on the web site. Layout, facilities and location of the property were all perfect. We had a great time hanging out with the sheep. Customer service provided by the owner Catalina was extremely professional and she was always available on the phone to answer any queries and to arrange a visit to water plants and maintain the pool. Lots of things to see and do in the area we would highly recommend the 'castle' restaurant between Felantix and Porto Colom, delicious food and excellent service. Another great find was La Bodega in Cala Do'r, excellent Tapas and good price. St Salvador is well worth a visit and offers excellent panoramic views of the island. Only one thing to mention for those travelling with children (not that it bothered us) you cannot access English channels on the TV however I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all. Casa maravillosa en entorno idílico

La casa es preciosa y cumplió todas nuestras expectativas. El camino para llegar a ella ya es precioso y te va sugiriendo lo privilegiado de su localización. Tiene unas vistas espectaculares a la zona, donde dar paseos perfectos. Estuvimos dos parejas con bebés y estuvimos perfectos. La masia es de ensueño y permite disfrutarla en muchos espacios exteriores, durante el dia y la noche. Por decir algo que no fuera perfecto, es verdad que no está superequipada (no en el sentido de lujos, sino por ejemplo, pues no habia minipimer en la cocina o tuvimos que pedir que nos dejaran más de un juego de toallas para los 5 días) Pero bueno nada destacable, si se lo pides a la propietaria se intenta adaptar. Insisto la casa es perfecta y el lugar maravilloso.

Idylle inmitten Schafen

Sa Clota Nova liegt wirklich ruhig und einsam inmitten von als Schafweide genutzten Ländereien. Die Finca selbst ist gut gepflegt und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Küchenausstattung ist ok, schöner Grillplatz, wers braucht, auch deutsches SAT-TV. Die Wasserversorgung erfolgt auch einem unterirdischen Tank, die Finca hat keinen Anschluss ans Wassernetz, das ist aber durchaus üblich in Mallorca und bringt keine Einschränkungen, etwas gering ist die Menge an Warmwasser fürs Duschen, da sich zwei der Bäder einen Boiler teilen. Sehr gut waren Sauberkeit und Pflegezustand, Catalina die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilft mit guten Tipps weiter. Mietwagen ist obligatorisch, das nächste Geschäft ist ein Lidl in ca. 2 km Entfernung, der täglich, auch Sonntags geöffnet hat.

Dabei sind wir auf die Finca "Sa Clota Nova" in der Nähe von Felanitx gestossen. Bereits nach dem Erstkontakt mit der Vermieterin Catalina waren wir begeistert (schnelle und sehr freundliche, hilfreiche Antwort) und haben daraufhin gebucht. Bei unserer Ankunft in der Finca waren wir dann überglücklich, die richtige Finca ausgesucht zu haben: tolle, ruhige Lage der Finca (hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen), sehr saubere, schöne Zimmer und Bäder, tolle Ausstattung (Küchenausstattung, Sat-TV, Wlan, schöner überdachter Grillplatz, etc.) und ein herrlich großer Pool, der natürlich am gleichen Abend für eine Erfrischung sorgte. Catalina - die Vermieterin - war uns ebenfalls sofort sehr sympathisch und Sie war auch immer und jederzeit bei Fragen oder kleineren Problemen erreichbar. Von der Finca aus sind Badebuchten und Hafenstädte mit dem Mietwagen leicht zu erreichen, z.B. Porto Colom, Porto Christo, Portopetro, usw. Hier findet man auch sehr gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für den täglichen Bedarf erreicht man den nahegelegenen Lidl in Felanitx in ca. 5 Minuten. Leider waren die 10 Tage (11.08.-20.08.2015) zu schnell vorbei und wir werden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt auf Mallorca gerne wieder in die Finca "Sa Clota Nova" kommen. Not completely on your own

The place was large and fairly isolated. The latter is both good and bad. Nice if you want peace and quiet, not so nice if you want to go to the beach a lot. Minimum 20 minutes to the nearest beach if you drive fast. The owner claimed that it only takes 10-15 min which is absolutely not true. And, no, it is not because we cannot find our way. It is min. 16 km and there is no way you can go with an average speed of 60 km/hour. You do the math. The pool was nice, with views over a field and no neighbors in sight. When enquiring, however, we asked if the pool could be fenced off so our small kids couldn't venture down to it and drown. We were told that would not be a problem. When we showed up, however, it turned out that the thing that would prevent our kids from accessing the pool were some steep stairs. Not exactly the kind of prevention we were hoping for. We managed to build a fence with some planks but were left with the feeling that the owner was dishonest to get us to stay there. The biggest problem we had with the place was that the owner showed up unannounced. We met her when we came back from the beach as she was leaving the place. She said she had wanted to water a few things, but later it became clear that she had been inside the house. She also showed up once or twice after having told us she would - but after the first unannounced visit we always wondered if she had now been there again while we were out and started looking for signs that she had been inside. Not a nice feeling. The communication before we showed up was good and efficient. No problems there. Also positive: There is nice, big supermarket right where you enter Felanitx. So going grocery shopping is not a big problem. Of course you need a car. Another negative thing: There was no air condition and the only way to make it bearable to sleep was to open the windows. Unfortunately there were lots of mosquitos so we all had bites all over while we were there.

Ideal!

Son Negre ha cumplido todas nuestras expectativas. Catalina, la propietaria, hizo todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta. Son Negre es la finca en el campo con la que soñamos. Mucha paz, largos paseos y largas tertulias alrededor de la mesa en el Sur de Mallorca, a pocos kilómetros de Porto Colom, de los lugares más auténticos de la isla, y de Es Trenc, nuestra playa preferida.

Traum-Finca für Familien mit Kindern

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal auf der Finca, diesmal für zwei Wochen im Juli. Die Lage ist im Zentrum der Insel, traumhaft ruhig mit viel Land drum herum. Das einzige was man dort hört sind die Schafe und ab und zu die Hunde der Nachbar-Fincas, sowie manchmal die Traktoren der Bauern, die die Felder bearbeiten. Durch den schönen Pool und den vielen Platz drum herum ist die Finca ideal für Familien mit (tierliebenden) Kindern und allen sonst, die Ruhe schätzen. Durch die Nähe zu Felanitx muss man auf nichts verzichten und ist auch super schnell an schönen Stränden und Calas. Die Finca erst sehr gepflegt und die Vermieterin Catalina sehr freundlich und antwortet schnell auf Fragen bzw. löst kleinere Problemchen. Wir können die Finca uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, sind immer sehr traurig, wenn wir wieder abreisen müssen, und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
