"I would definitely recommend this Hotel. Coming from the US, Holiday Inn is viewed as a mid-grade Hotel chain that used to be a leader but no longer is. That is not the case in European countries. Breakfast was nothing short of awesome, way beyond and US located chain hotel. Standard Service's, checking in and out was fine but ask for a concierge and you are on your own. As for help understanding transportation via train, bus etc and you quickly realize the attitude is "not my job, go away"."

"We chose this mercure as near the old town and vienna central train station. We found one side of the hitel near Bayerstrabe was fine while the other end was shady. We also found the staff here were not friendly nor professional especially the reception staff on May 14th 2026 around 6 pm. We were given the welocme drink voucher when checking in for our four nights booking but the hotel staff bar said it was invalid. We checked with the man at the reception staff and he checked and said the drink voucher was a mistake by their check in staff and offered no apology. This person did not have any training on hospitality business and declined to give his name nor he wore any name badge. We did not like to spoil our mood to talk to this person nor like to spend any mobey in the hotel bar. Perhaps the management of this Mercure hotel should reassess their staff to provide the kind hospitality in a professional manner."

"Modern hotel in a great location near the Munich central train station!"

"The property is near rail station. Rooms I got was clean however there is Donor kabab shop on ground floor and the smell of food in room was bothering me. Rest good stay, near by food shops , grocery, bakery, cafe…. Very convenient."

"Cleaning staff was fantastic and spa facilities were wonderrul. It was nice to have coffee in room. However, for a five star resort and of course price it was missing amenities and all around charm / care. Of course it was convenient to station so that’s one of the perk but I don’t know that I’d stay again for the price. It felt more like a large Marriott"

"In the heart of Munich, a great place to stay"

"Booked 6 triple rooms as it advertised 1 double and 1 single bed. Arrived to be told by reception that it is a sofa bed and it was not made up with bed sheets or duvets and as house keeping was not here (about 6pm) it would not be made up until the following day. We asked for the bedding ourselves to make up. No house keeping arrived the following day to check as reception has said they would. The reception also tried to charge me again even though I had prepaid. Premier inn seemed to be totally disconnected to the hotels.com booking service and everything that was wrong they just blamed hotels.com listing. Hotel itself is basic as expected by Premier Inn. Location is great close to Marienplatz and train station, hotel bar and restaurant area seemed new and modern. Would stay again but unhappy with how reception handled check in."
