Europe in the Redwoods
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"Property was excellent inside. Discovered the laundry late but didn't need it. The title of Europe in the Redwoods is misleading since the property is not in the Redwoods. That's no "biggy" but I understand about marketing. For our needs it was just fine and we really appreciated finding a nice place that was dog friendly. We'd come back."

Vintage downtown apt with balcony, W/D, streaming, kitchen & close to the ocean
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"The moment we walked in we were thrilled. The place is beautifully restored and very comfortable. We had everything we needed, and were very grateful for the washer and dryer. The location is within walking distance is dozens of great places to eat, including pizza right next door. Easy to get to the grocery store as well if you decide to cook in the well equipped kitchen. The retro decor is very well done and made me curious about the history of the place. I highly recommend this spot and would...

The Garden Suite has beautiful views of forests and pastures! It is dog friendly
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (73)
"We enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Garden Suite. Very spacious, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable bed (futon mattress as well), beautiful grounds with fenced in large back yard, which was nice for our dogs. I loved the close proximity to town (walkable), and the beautiful Russ Park right across the street, which has great hiking/running trails (steep), and expansive views. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!"

Is it an art project or a studio?
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (3)
"It was a fun stay in Mermaids Den. The property was nicely set up. I like the addition of the TV and heater. That said There were a few issues with the smell of the refrigerator. The heater was unresponsive. The property is literally just a modded out garage. Knowing this beforehand would have changed my decision in where to stay during our stay in Northern California. Regardless still enjoyable. Know what you’re purchasing."

Boutique Hotel, Romantic bed and breakfast in Victorian town of Ferndale, CA
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. There was a guest there who had called in the afternoon and was able to get a room that night. The dining room was...
