“We were disappointed with the condition of our room. The furnishings were very nice (and realizing it's an historic building) it just looked very tired, the walls, bathroom, etc. At least our room did. In addition there was an adjoining door to the room next door that didn't block the sound at all from that room. You could hear just about everything coming from there. After coming back from diner we found ourselves locked out of the building as the coded keypad to the front door wasn't……

“This property is in dire need of maintenance and repairs. One of the two elevators was broke, the ice machine on floor two was broken and our bed needs to be replaced. I compare this hotel to the one we stayed in at Gulfport. It just doesn’t measure up. Staff was very accommodating. They got us extra chairs for our room as the room only comes with one chair. They accommodated extra towels when needed. But I did notice some of the staff seemed very old and we caught one of them hiding in a……

“Lovely, clean hotel. The problem i had was the noise. I had a wonderful view of the river and the bridges but I heard every loud car, truck, motorcycle and siren. The staff was very accommodating and gave me a room facing the opposite direction. That room had a damp feeling. Assuming from the AC. And during the week there is not much for breakfast. They put out a few Nutragrain bars, coffee , water. Bare minimum. They save the larger services for the weekends. Staff was excellent, property……

“Breakfast was good but the overall property was not well kept up. The rooms were very dusty and carpets need replacing. AC worked well in one of our rooms but not very well in the other”

“Staying at the Choctaw Hall Bed and Breakfast isn’t lodging, it’s an experience. My time there felt like a modern day glimpse into Gone With the Wind, minus the plantation. Lee and David are incredible hosts and curators of living history. The love they have for their home and their town emanates through with every recommendation to making the most of enjoying our time in Natchez and their knowledge of all things beautiful. “Amazing stay! Really enjoyed the property and history it held”

“First, I thought I booked a king-size bed, but we ended up with a queen-size in a very small room. Your site said there was an elevator but we got there to discover it wasn’t functioning. I managed the stairs, but I do have mobility problems and was frustrated there was no elevator. We didn’t mind the policy of no shoes, but the mat in front of the door was wet from rain, and we ended up with wet socks. The hostess was nice and the breakfast was delicious but we’re overall disappointed in the……
