Great place

This was a great place to go and get away from the computers and normal day hustle and bustle of life, and spend quality time with the wife. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great and relaxing time. We loved the quiet and just being able to be lazy in the hot tub and by the bonfire. Its a great location and the drive there is so beautiful.

This is a great getaway!!! John is a great host. The caboose is just the way it is described. It rained most of the time we were there, so we were unable to take advantage of the grill and firepit, but we still enjoyed the birds singing and the quietness. There are many things to see/do in the area and we had a fun time.

Had a great time here. Had everything we needed. I loved how secluded it was. A perfect getaway! We really enjoyed the hot tub. The owner was very thoughtful and left us a giftcard to a nearby restaurant and some wine and waters in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! We were here in single digit weather and still had a blast. We enjoyed the complimentary wine, cozy hot tub, and nearby hiking. The snow was magical. We'd love to come back again to experience the caboose in warmer weather. Thanks for a great stay!

Girls Trip

My daughter and I have been finding unusual places for a quick girls getaway and this place did not disappoint. Check in was so easy and we received a code to enter. Check out was easy with a checklist to complete. Great communication with owner. We were able to bring out small old dog with once we paid a small extra fee, 40. The place was a perfect time to spend time together and make memories. I'd definitely recommend!

Secluded Time to Wind Down

We would highly recommend this property to any couple with a pet! Theres a perfect amount of space to move around, it’s very clean, and John has all you need to survive. The quiet is welcome to relax. There are many hiking trails nearby with great views of the Mississippi river. This is a must visit place!

Great Getaway

The entire property was amazing from the caboose to the hot tub. Even with the bad weather we had a great time during our stay. While the caboose is small, it has everything that you need to relax and enjoy some time away from home.
