An iconic sight for sure, the tanneries of Fes was absolutely interesting to take in. As well as the smell, which wasn't as bad as I anticipated - and they gave us a bundle of mint to smell if it got too bad. :) Here you can see all the different colors of leather dyed...and dried...and here you will find the biggest selections and best prices for leather products at the surrounding leather shops that have a veranda to see the men at work below. Yes, yes I did acquire a bag while I was there - and it has Berber carpet on it too - double score! :)

Tucked away on one of the many side streets of Fes, with an unassuming door and front is the amazing Riad Salam Fes. A luxury riad nestled in the old medina of Fes, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, is walking distance to so much of the old medina to discover - shopping, foods, markets, restaurants. This is where we ate breakfast in the morning. I know...hard to handle ;)

这个酒店的房间我已经无力吐槽了，一个四星级酒店房间墙壁尽然还有发霉潮湿剥落，而且还有好几个地方都是这样，看着就觉得不舒服，你们把这样的客房给顾客住真的好吗？你们的庭院修的是不错，既然你们有钱装修庭院，为什么你们就不能花点钱把房间内部装修一下？你们不知道发霉潮湿对人的身体有影响吗？要是你自己家里变成这样，你愿意住吗？

愉快的住宿体验
套房很大，床很舒服，Hassnae英语很好，会提前发邮件确认。入住后服务很好，提供fes的地图，帮我们询问CTM是否有余票等等。酒店位置也很好，步行3分钟到蓝门，到麦地那也很方便。总而言之，很愉快的住宿体验。
