"It’s an older motel, but well maintained. The room was large, but the bathroom was a little cramped. Didn’t interact with staff except briefly at checkin, and it wasn’t as smooth as some. Didn’t try breakfast, but the lobby is very small so I can’t imagine the breakfast was great."

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming inn, which is set in a beautifully restored historic home with all the modern comforts. The innkeeper, Bill, was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The location was ideal for our trip—a short drive to downtown Freeport and a perfect home base for visiting relatives in Gray and attending the airshow in Brunswick. Tucked away from the main roads, the inn offered a peaceful, quiet setting that made it easy to relax after a busy day. We would happily stay here again."

"Staff were really helpful and friendly. The building is clean and beds are soft and new. I just wish the breakfast had more to offer, it was hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt which is fine. I was hoping for hot food but it was enough to fill our bellies, and the breakfast area was open and spacious and very clean. I would stay here again."

"Great property - very peaceful and quiet. Right next to the water. There are a lot of stairs to get from the street down to the house (and steps inside too), fine for us, just be aware. Kayaks were fun. Deck is great for hanging out and viewing the lake."
