“I grew up in Eugene and spent many days on the McKenzie River. We’ve been out of state for many years now but still come back to Oregon as often as we can.This was the perfect property to enjoy reminiscing with some of our grown children. Very cozy setting and everything we needed. We caught one of the Pineapple Express storms that I remember growing up and even had a long power outage where we enjoyed the wood stove and improvising. “It was more rustic than I expected but very comfortable. The deck space was relaxing and nice. It's a great spot to enjoy the sounds of nature and we didn't see any neighbors while we were there. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but additional drinking glasses and some wine glasses would have been nice. There are restaurants and a store surprisingly close by and the Obsidian Grill even offers some gluten free and vegan options. Two very minor complaints about the house: 1. It has some funky……
