“The cottage was exactly as pictured and a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this charming rental and appreciated the prompt communication with the owners. It was easily accessible to downtown shops when we decided to walk. Mahone Bay is a lovely town with several shops nestled next to the water. Highly recommend! A side trip to Peggy's Cove was a highlight!!”

“2seniors on the third floor with luggage. Not a good fit. Ir I had known this we wouldn’t have booked this place. Super tiny bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. It was very cold in the unit and we couldn’t find a way to change that. We had to contact the owner on another matter and it took a while for her to contact us so we didn’t bother about the heat. We were requested to take off our shoes but the floor was too cold. We kept tripping over the shoe mat so moved it. Mattress was a bit too soft……

“This is a very pleasant older home near Lunenburg's downtown. Overall it was very comfortable and reasonably equipped. Depending on one's neighbours, noise can be a bit of an issue (although we were not overly inconvenienced). Also, having a Keurig in the room would have been helpful as would somewhat better TV sports coverage (no BlueJays or golf).”

Of all the places we stayed in on our road trip through Nova Scotia this was by far the most reasonable in terms of price and experience In addition to being beautiful, clean it offered so many unexpected amenities - a private hot tub, barbecue AND fire table for each unit and a welcome basket with delicious snacks.
