The surrounding area was up-and-coming, and not as clean as other areas in Luzern. Easy and quick to get to the city center. The bus stop was right in front of the apartment. "

"Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. "Nice, clean and cozy. Very reasonably priced as well. The beauty of Fluhli and surrounding areas is unmatched. However wifi was not provided and host did not communicate at all when asked for help. Since it was a remote region, data didnt work well, so no wifi was definitely a negative experience."

"Auf den Bildern sah die Unterkunft ok aus. Entweder waren die Bilder alt oder es war gut fotografiert. Dort angekommen war ich erstmal geschockt... Die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig. Zudem sehr abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt. Gegen alt habe ich nichts aber ganz sollte es schon sein. Schmutzige Töpfe, dreckige Schränke, in der Waschmaschine wollte ich auch nichts waschen... Die Umgebung war jetzt auch nicht das optimale. Wir haben das Beste draus gemacht aber werden sicher nicht wieder...

"We had an overall lovely stay. The location is close to Lucerne, but car/bus not walking distance. Very spacious house, with 5.5 bedrooms (the 0.5 is one room with a bunk bed is attached to another one of the rooms) that could easily sleep 11 people - so it was very comfortable for our group of 6. The kitchen was also fairly well stocked (including oils and spices), which made cooking some meals easy. There was a toilet with a known clogging problem, but no plunger in the house. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."

"Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und einem Kind, 8 Jahre, eine Woche hier verbracht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die Wohnung ist groß und mit allem eingerichtet, was man benötigt. Ganz besonders toll war, dass unser Sohn auch beim Füttern der Kühe mithelfen durfe und auf dem Traktor mitgenommen wurde. Auch der Hofhund Nello war ein toller Freund zum Spielen.
