“The floor needed to be swept and mopped. Bedding was clean and bathroom was clean.”

“We stayed here for 4 nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I had to ask for a couple extra pillows due to a foot injury (unrelated to the property) and they had no problem with bringing them down quickly. The staff were amazing and super friendly. Definitely recommend stopping by the bar. All in all we were very happy with our stay and if we are back down in that area will definitely stay there again.”

“It was nice to have a separated bedroom. Great A/C to cool down. Plenty of space for an air mattress so the kids didn't have to share a fold out couch. Lots to do nearby.”

“The breakfast was enjoyable and we liked the room amenities. The staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in/out was easy. But, the hotel itself feels old and needs a good cleaning/updating. The room and hall carpets smelled musty, our blanket had stains on it, the furniture had heavy scuff marks on it, there were stains in the bathroom that just made it feel grungy and unclean. The price was good, but I'd probably take my chances with a different hotel next time.”

“Room was okay, seemed to be occupied by extended stay. Mistakenly booked smoking king (which there was a notation of additional 200 deposit) asked to change to king non smoking was informed that would be an upcharge so had to go to double queen non smoking. Asked about ice machines and was informed non were working. Breakfast was minimal. An ok stay but will not book again.”

“El personal fue muy amable y el check-in fue super rapido, no mas de 5 minutos. La habitación estaba muy ordenada y limpia aunque debo decir que tenía un ligero olor a humedad. De las dos camas de la habitación, el colchón de una de ellas ya merece un cambio, hacían ruido los resortes al moverse. El aire acondicionado funcionaba muy bien pero era muy ruidoso, en la segunda noche me di cuenta que era una pieza la que hacia el ruido, la fije con una sandalia y problema resuelto. Las sabanas y……

“The room was spacious and clean. We ordered a chicken fried steak and a BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger, and both were phenomenal! While we stayed on a Thursday, I'd love to return and stay Fri/Sat when there is live music. Startz Cafe was recommended for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Just make sure to take cash, as they are a cash only establishment.”

“The best part of the stay - an important part- were the beds. The lighting in the rooms are LED and harsh on the eyes. The noise from the freeway (and I live near a freeway) were much louder than anticipated. The rooms wedDefinitely bring noise cancelling headphones or a sound machine. I wouldn’t stay again. It was only ok and the location was less than ideal.”

“Place was ok but very disappointed they decided to clean the swimming pool. The one thing rhe girls wanted to do is swim.”

“Our particular room smelled like mildew and moisture. The bathroom appeared clean but the sink and shower smelled otherwise. I would not recommend staying at this location for the price.”

“The room was supposedly a non smoking room yet smelled horribly like smoke, talked to someone at front desk and was told all room were sold out so they couldn’t swap me rooms. Not even going to target for an odor neutralizer helped out”

“There was a power outage in San Marcos which delayed our check in. When we finally got checked in we had to move rooms from an upper floor to a lower floor because the elevators were not working. I was quite surprised that the hotel did not have a back up generator. The new room we were in there was body hair throughout the restroom and a potato chip underneath the bed. Luckily this was a one night stay for us.”
