We had a wonderful stay at a cabin in Ponderosa Ranch, East Zion. The place had absolutely everything we needed—and more! A fun surprise was finding turmeric in the pantry, which saved our Persian cooking plans when we realized we’d forgotten to pack it. It’s clear the owners stocked the home like they intended to live there themselves. The cabin was spotless, spacious, and comfortably fit our group of seven adults. The host even left cold water in the fridge for us, which was a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. Another standout was the incredible night sky—we were able to see the Milky Way right from the deck. Truly magical.Communication was also top-notch. The host was very responsive, even replying to a message at 11 p.m. on a Sunday night, which we really appreciated. The only minor downside was the 40-minute drive each way to the Zion Canyon shuttle stops for hikes like The Narrows and Angels Landing. That said, we were up early for hikes anyway, so it wasn’t a major issue. On the plus side, the cabin is much closer to Bryce Canyon, which made for an easy and scenic afternoon trip.All in all, this place exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’d absolutely stay here again!
