「This historic cabin is one of the best rentals ever. Agility is needed for the stairs to the second floor, but the stairs were easily managed by us -- who are people of a certain age. The bucolic setting makes this place a welcome respite from the fast-paced life beyond the gates.」

「We only stayed one night to break up a long drive. Communication from preparing, during and post was outstanding. The house overall was very nice, great layout and plenty of room. Owners did all the little things that go a long way. Coffee machines in bedrooms and water was filled in advance in each one, guest notes about where to find or what to do was also nice. I would definitely stay here again」

「Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.」

「Lovely eclectic and historic property, comfortable beds, very nice bathroom layout. Loved the toiletries provided, and there were a number of thoughtful touches that elevated the experience. The bar space, with its deep sink, turned out to be an excellent place for arranging flowers that I was taking to an event. This hotel is in a terrific location..」
