“This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.”

“We stayed Sunday - Wednesday at Riverside Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and Hooper Island was breath taking. We were able to take a boat ride to tour around the island and grad a little history and enjoy the stories. If you looking for a place to relax and renew... this is the place. ”

“Nice stay, clean room, comfy bed, building very well maintained, plenty parking spaces. Beautiful sunset views from across the street. The only thing I didn’t like is the room we got was facing the parking lot with a view of the water blocked by a tree, we told the front desk about it, but weren’t offered to move even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked. Restaurant next door is a plus”

“There was ample parking. The room was clean. However, the water in the shower was a dark gray each time I turned it on. The lower part of the curtain was a filthy shade of brown. There was some mildew or powery looking substance on the back of my room door. The glass of a body length mirrorin the room was broken.
