"Lovely comfortable flat with lovely seaside decor. Amazing view of the sea. Close to everything you need. Parking is tight but they do warn you of this, so it wasn’t a surprise. There is some noise from the road as there are traffic lights outside the bedroom window and it’s near the theatre so some noise from there. But it did not affect our long weekend break and we had a wonderful time and would go back."

"The property is an amazing old building right in the centre of town, opposite the fossil museum and a very short walk to the beach As others have mentioned it is directly above a burger restaurant, which didn’t pose an issue other than an overwhelming smell of old cooking fat in the communal entrance although isnt noticeable upstairs in the apartment The place was perfectly clean but the sofa has seen better days and the main bed was very uncomfortable. "An historic building in the centre of Lyme Regis, 5 minutes from the beach, with parking. Our room had a fine view of the bay, was comfortable and clean, with a modern shower/toilet. The furniture was a mish-mash of old pieces, but it all worked. The building is old and rambling, with staircases (no lifts). Breakfast was good, the staff were willing but a bit inexperienced. Dinner in the restaurant was pretty good. Our vegetarian needs were well met. All-in-all, we had a pleasant short break in this town, the 'Pearl of Dorset'."

"We had a great time here. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic. It’s on the high street so you couldn’t be closer to the town - I could see the Abbey and Tor from my window. It doesn’t really have parking but there is a council run car park directly opposite and we didn’t struggle to find a space on it."

"I had booked through hotels.com and had got a good b&b deal. It hadn't been made clear, though, that there would be a parking charge of £9. I was pleased that the receptionist reduced this to £6 which was a helpful gesture - apparently Ibis do not own or run the car park. The room and twin beds (made into a superking) were comfy. Having a socket by the mirror was useful; there was a lovely large shower cubicle. Good breakfast overall, though poor selection in cereals (eg no weetabix) and spreads (eg no marmite). Very nice scrambled egg (once I'd added s&p). No fried eggs as standard but when my husband asked for these they were made to order. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had already checked in online but I'm not clear what the point of that was so that was a waste of time. We had to wait a long time for the (very pleasant) receptiionist to be able to deal with us on arrival, where we had to check in and pay for parking. There was no self-check-in-kiosk."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."
