Perfect Mountain Getaway

Beautiful home to rent. Loved the location and neighborhood, home was clean and roomy and well stocked. Would highly recommend a stay here. Property manager was responsive and answered all questions we had. We will rent this home again.

NAU Homecoming Weekend 2024

Four generations of our family gathered to celebrate the 100 Homecoming at NAU. This is an annual even for us as we have multiple generations of alumni and future alumni. Being from the Valley of the Sun we loved the weather and for my one grandson, it was the first time he got to actually experience snow fall. We also loved the deer in the morning on the front lawn and the spectacular sunrise that we were able to watch from the big window in the front room.

2 Week Summer Stay at Rock Manor - Potential But Not Quite Ready!

This remodeled Rock Manor home has a lot of potential and is located in a quiet neighborhood in East Flagstaff. Although we could tell the remodel included a lot of improved enhancements, including a large new kitchen with sparkly appliances and two bathrooms that are now modern and fresh, this home is still not quite ready to be on the market for a rental. The main reason is that the windows are old, some don’t lock completely, and the entire living room and kitchen is in desperate need of window blinds to cover the afternoon sun or seeing through at night There is little to no privacy in that part of the home. Not sure if the owners ran out of time or funds, but that would be the biggest change that needs to be made. In addition to the windows, the back door leading out to the patio needs a screen door for cross ventilation since there is no central air. We also found the front door tricky to lock properly and it was very temperamental. On a positive note, the kitchen was well-stocked with every gadget and tool needed, the towels were fresh and new and the bedding comfortable and clean. While this is a dog friendly home and all of us dog owners appreciate that, the living room is too large to not offer a comfortable sectional that fills up the room. Two small leather couches and chairs are not the same as a comfy and cushy sofa after a long day exploring Flagstaff. This rental appears to be new to the Flagstaff market. Hopefully the owners and/or property managers will add these important security features to the doors and windows. Then this home’s review could be improved from a 3 of 5 to potentially a 4 or 5.
