Absolutely phenomenal hotel. We were in a cozy cocoon there in the tiny village of Nusfjord. Incredibly comfortable rooms, cozy beds, heated floors. We also enjoyed really wonderful massages, the sauna and ocean plunge and the amazing restaurants. We did not want to leave! Thanks to the Nusfjord staff.

The property is well appointed. The main restaurant where breakfast was served was excellent. The bar and lounge overlooking the water was also nice. Service was professional but in certain regards a bit inflexible. I told the front desk that the mattress was exceedingly soft and needed to be replaced or a support placed under it. I don’t think much of an attempt was made to do anything about this.

These cabins were beautiful and had room for us to move around. They had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Heated floors in the bathrooms. Beautiful decor. Lotions and soaps. It was really a classy place. It was my favorite place we stayed while in Norway. The restaurant was also really nice with great food.

Wonderful location at Nusfjord, and a wonderful breakfast included in the accommodation price. There are not really other options. Also free EV charging is available. I couple of minor disappointing elements, such as coffee/tea cups being too small and hot water coming out of the cold tap in the evenings. We explored the surrounding area thoroughly, which we would highly recommend.

Loved staying here for a few nights while passing through Norway. Beautiful area and interesting buildings, quirky and cosy with excellent food to go with it. We were lucky with the weather- snowed every morning and the sun out through the day, just perfect. Oh, and the northern lights show was the best I’d ever seen, stunning.

This place is fantastic, so if you are visiting Lofoten, book at least one night in this small village. The breakfast, pizza and the bakery buns…wow! We will go back to Lofoten, and this place is on the list to revisit. We had to leave one day early due to illness, but we said on the way back home that this is top 3 for us compared to other hotels that we have visited round the world.

Helt unik og fantastisk oplevelse!

Wow - dette var en helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse! Autentisk fiskevær omgjort til total luksus!! Vi boede i Øvre Ishus med 3 soveværelser og 3 bad, og man vågnede op til den skønneste udsigt! Udendørs hot tub var skøn, og morgenmad og aftensmad i Restaurant Karoline var af meget høj kvalitet. Personalet er meget serviceorienteret og opmærksomme. Selve stedet er utrolig smukt, og virkelig en oplevelse. Vi var der i tre nætter, og kommer gerne igen.

This place is sooo beautiful. We loved every single corner of the cabin and knowing the history of these cabins which were originally used by the fishermen made it extra meaningful! The cabin has everything we needed. Breakfast spread was good as well. Will highly recommend!!

Posto davvero incantevole in un fiordo unico molto scenografico la camera x 4 divisa in 2 con 2 bagni eccellente molto pulita e confortevole Colazione ottima e varia e la cena al ristorante a la carte buona ma con stile un po' gourmet quindi non abbondante la scelta è un po' limitata tra antipasti e piatti principali ma comunque ottimi.... Consigliatissimo per l atmosfera e il conteststo del fiordo pesrsonale accogliente e gentilissimo accesso anche alla vasca di acqua calda all aperto immersi nel nostro caso nella neve

Stunning location and property. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin could do with a little bit kore lighting however, especially around the sink area and coffee area. Would also be an added bonus if a little helfup guide on fishing from the pier was included too either in the cabin or shop (great they have cheap [£40-50] rods for sale too).
