“Idel location, close to town center with loads of restaurants to choose from. Very friendly staff, rooms are clean and well kept. Loved the brakefast”

“1. I booked a double room, but the sink was in the bedroom. There was a strange sewer smell. I wanted to change room，but was told that I could only change to a single room, so I didn't change. 2 There is a bathtub, but it has only a very narrow baffle. Even if you take a shower carefully, water will still splash everywhere. 3 The price fluctuates greatly. The one we booked one month in advance is twice as expensive as if you book two days in advance. Other four-star hotels in the surrounding……

“Hotel stay was good and staff was friendly. Rooms are large but Bathroom need to be upgraded. Breakfast had good choice options (maybe add some more fruit variety). Overall good hotel near hospital university ”

“My daughter really enjoyed her stay with you. She told me everything was wonderful and she's glad she chose to stay at Hotel 1861. The unique character and history of the hotel was a big plus but, also, the hotel was very clean, the twin single room was comfy, breakfast was fresh and typically Swedish, the staff was wonderful, and the location was extremely convenient to get around the city and to the airport. She loved everything about her stay and looks forward to staying again. I must say……

“Typiskt tråkigt Scandic. Stela tråkiga rum men helt ok. Scandic standard meny i restaurangen, helt enkelt tråkig mat.”

“We were there in the snowy winter in a street-facing room and the snowplow passed by frequently making sleeping impossible. Not sure if all the rooms were effected. Other than that, the staff was great and the food was very tasty. It's a nice simple place close to the downtown area”

“I liked my stay at this hotel. Room was very modern and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and staff was very nice. One minor thing is that you need to request to have your room cleaned or towels changed. Overall a very nice hotel.”
