Flat Island

NOS ENCANTÓ EL HOTEL, MUY ATENTOS, SUPER LIMPIO. CELEBRAMOS AQUI NUESTRO HONEYMOON, NOS DEJARON UN DETALLE EN NUESTRA HABITACIÓN X DICHO MOTIVO Y NOS HICIERON SENTIR ESPECIALES , LA PASAMOS ESPECTACULAR. UN SITIO MUY ESPECIAL PARA NOSOTROS. VOLVEMOS PARA CELEBRAR NUESTRO ANIVERSARIO CON USTEDES Y EN NUESTRA CIUDAD FAVORITA, NY..😍

It was ok. Good for what we got.

Our room was beautiful on high floor. Nice view. Extremely clean. Comfy firm mattress. Lovely bathrooms. We enjoyed the tea/coffee, chips and water in our room. Included breakfast, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a walking tour for 4. [Varied starting points by day of week. We were there Sunday, but tour from Edison were on Tue/Sat. You'd have to go to another one of their Triumph partners. I think the hotel could do better to send you the confirmation greeting message for your stay, that they should state, "Your stay does not occur on the days of our walking tours but here are the next closest hotel partner." Or something like that.] We had Broadway tickets. It was nice to go out of the hotel lobby, cross the street to get to theater we needed. And lots of restaurants next door to complete the evening. Parking would be included for your vehicle at a price of $75 a night. But you can't come in and out. That did not make us happy since part of our trip was to go into Brooklyn and Staten Island. We did end up taking the metro and then the SI ferry. But it limited us to walking around and couldn't really get to see too much of the areas. But getting around town is easy enough with the transit systems. And the free Staten Island Ferry had the best view of Manhattan and Statue of Liberty. All in all I think that the hotel Edison was fabulous. I would definitely stay here again.
