We had a lovely stay at the Bears' Lodge! It is exactly as advertised. They even provided some chocolates, a gift card, and shampoo/conditioner in the showers. If you are traveling with young children, the house even has gates for the stairs and a high chair. We loved being able to easily walk down to the Bonclarken Lake for an evening stroll. Communication with the property manager was excellent. I would happily stay here again.

Peaceful, serene location. Home was perfect for us.

The home is exactly as pictured. We enjoyed our stay and hope it is available when we next return. The best location we have found in Flat Rock. The Bonclarken community is a perfect fit for us.

Very Enjoyable

We stayed 4 nights and drove each day to the Community College for a bridge tournament. It was convenient, clean and well appointed. The house is conveniently located about 12 minutes from downtown Hendersonville for great dining and shopping.

Great house and host!

Our family came for a weekend getaway while my oldest daughter was participating in the Western Regional HS Music conference being held in BonClarken. The house was clean and well appointed and very family and dog friendly. We were within walking distance to the lake and enjoyed walking the dogs in a serene environment. We were able to walk to the location of the concert in the youth activities building. The area was quiet with friendly neighbors. The beds were comfy and the living room with plenty of relaxing seating. The screened in porch with the swing was wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee or relax in the evening. We were very close to great restaurants (loved Hubba Hubba, the bakery, and shops at Rainbow row!) and were super close for a walk at the Flat Rock Playhouse and a visit to the Carl Sandburg house and goat farm. The hosts were great! Julie went above and beyond to help have things ready and accommodate our schedule with check-in and check-out. We will definitely stay here again!
