The cabin was in an excellent location! Very clean! Hot tub was not working to begin with (but they let us know before we got there)They fixed it a few days later, but we weren’t going to get in it..The only problem we had was trying to call out or receive calls- internet was fine!Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Fantastic place, very clean... Highly recommend

This was a perfect place for our two families to spend a 3-4 day weekend together. Well-stocked kitchen, the hot tub was great and the kids loved the loft.

Great stay!

The cabin was beautiful & spacious! The beds were comfy, we enjoyed the pool table & foosball, we didnt use the hottub. Very well stocked, private but not far from stores/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin!!!!

Well appointed cabin with farm animals nearby. Very friendly people and neat neighborhood. Rental agent was very responsive. Beautiful cabin with some issues but not spoiling our trip. Mountains and game were awesome.

Lovely gathering place

This cabin was fantastic!I hate when you book a place that can sleep 10 but they only have enough seating in the living room for 4! Happens way too often, but Hidden Serenity had a huge sectional sofa with enough space for everyone to sit comfortably in front of the fire! They also had plenty of dinning space. We loved how nicely decorated it was for Christmas too. This was perfect for our family gathering.

Honeymoon

We spent our wedding weekend at this beautiful cabin. Enjoyed every minute. Easy to find and access. Convenient location to Boone and West Jefferson. We will be returning again

Perfect family getaway

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful. It was perfect for taking our kids to the mountains for the first time. We have twins age 7 and another age 5. My mother and younger siblings 17 and 15 joined us as well. Neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. It is a quiet neighborhood and felt very safe. The hot tub was enjoyed as well as the fire pit area perfect for late evening s’mores. The accommodations were fantastic. The kids big and small enjoyed being able to explore the woods and some fishing thanks to a gracious neighbor. Another neighbor had some ponies and donkeys who appreciated some hand fed grass and apples for a snack. Definitely perfect for nature lovers. We would love to come back some day.

Hidden Serenity Review

Great property and location. Layout was fantastic. Needs a thorough deep clean. Hottub needs water and cleaning as water level was low and water smelled musty. Fridge water line wasn’t working. Overall great property and all agreed we would rent it again

Thanksgiving Together

We had a great stay over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The cabin was beautiful. Plenty of space for 6 adults and three kids. There were two porch saucer swings that the kids loved. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Great neighborhood. Updated interior. Easy to access. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful Hidden serenity

The house was gorgeous and very spacious. We easily fit 2 families in it. It was very warm and cozy, a perfect mountain get away! The kids loved having the game room with the pool table and foosball. There is plenty of room for the kids to run in the yard. We loved hanging out at the fire pit and roasting marshmellows. Its right off a main highway so it is easy access for travelers who are not prepared for winter conditions and its a short drive from the house to boone. We were very pleased and plan to stay again.

Restful retreat

This was a lovely cabin in an ideal location for hopping on the parkway and getting to Blowing Rock and Boone. Located in the foothills it was easy to access and was tucked in a sweet neighborhood. The cabin was clean and updated. The kitchen had all necessary supplies, but could use some fresh pans. My only complaint was the towels weren't freshly laundered. They were a bit dusty/musty smelling as if the cabin hadn't been used in a while. There was also dog hair on the couch covers. Since we were not bringing a pet that wasn't welcoming. Everything else was wonderful and I would definitely stay there again.

Relaxation

Before I forget, let me tell you to look through your info for the gate code! This is a great, quiet cabin that really we didn't even want to leave to do things. The living room is a great size for the number of people allowed. The kids loved the pool table and swings. The yard is spacious for kids to play. We had some deer out there one day. The gentleman down the road gave us permission to feed the donkeys. The kids loved that! Most places I stay, I wake up hurting from the beds. These beds! I didn't want to get up! lol We did have one set back/problem. The company was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond.

Great time

We had a great time this weekend. The property was so spacious and everyone felt like they had their own space to enjoy themselves. A few minor things- the refrigerator water dispenser doesn’t work. We reached out and never got a response. We were traveling with babies who need filtered water so that was kind of disheartening. We also didn’t feel that the cabin was extremely clean. There was a dried spaghetti noodle in the drying rack that had been leftover from one of the previous guests. Some of the dishes seemed dirty and we had to wash them before using. The shower in the main floor bathroom doesn’t drain. It takes about 30 minutes for the water to drain completely, so we had to use a different bathroom to bathe our kids. The lighting in the cabin is pretty poor- you either have blue led style lighting or extremely dim. Overall we had a great time but there were some things that could have been better.
