Beautiful views but disappointing in many areas

As a physician, a clean house is the most important factor when selecting a house for my family. Unfortunately, this house was not sanitary. There were countless stains on the carpet and couch along w/ both dead and alive spiders, flies and ants. The manager kindly offered to take care of the insects during our stay, however, I wasn't comfortable using pesticides in the same rooms where my kids were sleeping. In addition, the dishwasher and grill were broken, and 1 of the showers made so much noise, it wasn't usable. The manager also offered to fix the dishwasher during our stay, but having the house under repair is not what we planned for. In addition, the listing shows that the house had 4 bedrooms. Sadly, 1 of the "bedrooms" didn't have a door separating it from the common space and you could see all the way to the bathroom (w/ a direct line of sight to the toilet) from the "bedroom" entrance. There were other privacy issues including no curtains/shades between the primary bedroom and hot tub. There were actually no curtains/shades anywhere. There were also not enough towels and we had to do many loads of laundry so we didn’t have to reuse the same towel for the hot tub and shower. This was frustrating since the dryer did not work very well, and we had to run the dryer 2-3 times before the clothes dried. In spite of this, the management team was very friendly and tried to resolve most of these things. However, when renting a luxury home, you don't expect so many problems.

Piece of Heaven

Impressive piece of property centrally located between Hendersonville apple orchards and activities in Ashville! The home was beautiful and my family enjoyed walks around the enchanting pond! While there are no blinds in the bedrooms, it wasn't bothersome for us as the home is in a private location and we enjoyed opening our eyes in the morning to the views! Love that the home was pet friendly and clean! Just need to bring your own hand soap for the bathrooms and board games if you are looking for activities to do at home.

Great Property but missing some basics.

The property has no curtains/blinds on any windows including the bedrooms . So unless you like to get up at the crack of dawn. This is not a great house for you. The house had no brooms or vacuum cleaners. Also the cups and glasses were not enough. In fact most of the cups were chipped. There were probably 4 or 5 glasses and none of them matching.

Very pleasant stay. Clean, high-end finishings. Plenty of space. Gorgeous views!

Very happy with our stay. The property was clean, in great condition, and as presented on the site. We came to Asheville to elope and had two couples stay with us, and Waterfall Manor was an amazing hub for my bride to get ready for the (offsite) ceremony. The views of the mountains from the upstairs master bedroom and back deck were second to none, and the 10-acre property felt wonderfully secluded, while still be close enough to Asheville and Pisgah National Forest to suit our needs.

Beautiful home and property

A little slice of Heaven
