We stayed one week and had the best time in Laudinie. The house and location are fantastic. The terrace is a great place to eat, drink wine and look at the amazing view or the stars at night. The pool is very well maintained and spotless. Although the location feels remote and is the perfect place to just relax we were also not far from local attractions.

Charmante maison au calme et superbe piscine

Nous avons passé deux très belles semaines à la Laudinie avec nos 3 adolescents qui ont pleinement profité de la table de ping-pong, des vélos et surtout de la grande piscine (très propre et très profonde idéale pour les plongeons). L’environnement est très calme, avec une belle vue sur la campagne environnante, et proche de tous les sites préhistoriques de la vallée de la Vézère. La literie est de qualité et la cuisine très bien équipée. Super accueil de Michela. Merci pour tout !

Jolie maison dans un très bel environnement

Nous avons passé à la maison Laudinie un très agréable séjour en famille avec pour seul regret de ne pas pouvoir profiter plus de la belle piscine à cause d'une météo capricieuse.

Wonderful French holidays

Spent 2 wonderful weeks in the beautiful Dordogne country house, gathering great grandparents to to kids and grandson was a wonderful experience. Everyone enjoy the pool, lounging, sunbathing and exploring the area. Highly recommended! Hosts were wonderful in advising us well in advance on the property, location, things to do. If something was needed, they immediately fou s a solution... Just great for a holiday.

Oase im Herzen des Périgord

Die Alleinlage des mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Hauses ist einzigartig. Wir haben uns mit unserem Hund von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefühlt. In der sehr gut eingerichteten Küche ist es eine Freude die auf den umliegenden Märkten eingekauften frischen Lebensmittel zuzubereiten. Auch das romantische Gartenhaus mit dem super WEBER Grill möchten wir nicht unerwähnt lassen. Die Liste der Vorzüge dieses tollen Objekts liessen sich noch lange fortsetzten. Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Den tollen Pool möchten wir aber doch noch erwähnen. Die Gastgerinnen Franziska und Michaela sind einfach super nett. Danke vielmals.

Großes Haus mit tollem Pool in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in „Laudinie“, einem etwas abseits gelegenen Anwesen, das aber dennoch gut erreichbar und nicht zu weit entfernt von den zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend ist. Entgegen der Beschreibung gibt es sehr wohl Nachbarn, allerdings bekommt man so gut wie nichts davon mit. Der Pool ist wirklich riesig und tief, was für unsere Jungs das Highlight war. Es gibt eine tolle Bibliothek (mit hauptsächlich deutschen Büchern) und DVDs. Obwohl die Vermieterin aus persönlichen Gründen nicht vor Ort war, war sie jederzeit für uns erreichbar und hat immer schnell geantwortet. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat: Am Rand der Badewanne war nicht gerade wenig schwarzer Schimmel. Wir haben die Vermieterin darauf hingewiesen, das Problem ist wohl bekannt. Wir hätten erwartet, dass der Schimmel vor jedem neuen Gast wieder entfernt wird. So haben wir die Badewanne nur so wenig und so kurz wie möglich benutzt. Was der Vermieterin ebenfalls bekannt war, ist der Holzwurmbefall in den Balken des dritten Schlafzimmers. Das Knistern dieser Tierchen ist nicht zu überhören, sodass dieses Zimmer von uns nicht benutzt wurde (was aber für uns zu viert kein Problem war). Die Behandlung des Holzes dauert laut der Vermieterin noch an. Der Grillplatz war deutlich weniger einladend, als wir ihn auf den Bildern empfunden hatten. Das Austauschen der in die Jahre gekommenen Holzbank und des kaputten Plastikstuhls wäre eine Idee. Trotz dieser Punkte verbrachten wir eine schöne Woche in Laudinie und haben die tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten und kulinarischen Highlights in der Umgebung genossen.

Family holiday

We were at the property for the scorching hot weather. The garden and pool were perfect for keeping cool, sitting under the trees or in the seating area. Kitchen well equipped and outside eating areas all comfortable. Only downside - we would have liked a fan for each bedroom! One had to go without.

Beautiful peaceful location

We had a lovely two weeks. The boiler managed to develop a fault while we were there which meant we didn’t have hot water for a day but it couldn’t be helped. The dogs loved their first holiday abroad. A safe and tranquil environment for us and them. The pool was immaculately clean and the pool guy was lovely. Thanks for having us.

Beste Erholung in weitläufiger wunderschöner Umgebung

Die Auswahl des Objektes erfolgte auch gemäss der publizierten Bilder - diese versprechen nicht zuviel. Die Unterkunft bietet einen authentischen Charme und ausreichend Platz. Der Garten ist weitläufig, der Pool sehr gross und gut gepflegt, die vielen Bäume machen auch bei grosser Hitze angenehmen Schatten. Das Périgord noir ist wunderschön, mit dem Auto lassen sich Dörfer, Städte, Schlösser, Gärten und die bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten erkunden, wobei die Fahrt durch die Region selber bereits ein Genuss ist. Nur empfehlenswert und gerne wieder.

Ländliche Idylle

Obwohl viele Attraktionen in der Nähe sind, ist Laudinie schön abseits gelegen. Wer das französische Landleben liebt, der ist hier richtig. Es gibt viele schöne und gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege in der Nähe, der sehr große Pool lockt zum Schwimmen. Die wenig befahrenen Landstrassen eignen sich gut zum Radfahren, am besten mit E-Bikes oder MTB. Das Grundstück des Landguts ist wirklich sehr groß mit vielen Obstbäumen zum Naschen. Nur ein paar kleinere Nachteile: Ein Raum hat eine geringe Höhe durch die Deckenbalken, die Treppe nach oben ist recht steil, nur ein Bad für 4 Doppelzimmer.

Une piscine de rêve, mais pas seulement.

Si la piscine est un atout majeur de cette location (elle est grande, belle, profonde), la localisation au calme dans la nature mais à proximité des commerces et des sites à visiter en fait une location parfaite. Mais c’est aussi une maison de pays, une maison qui a une âme. L’équipement de la cuisine est top si vous aimez cuisiner : bonne batterie de cuisine, bons couteaux et même des maniques qui la plus part du temps font défaut dans les locations. Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille dans cette location.

Merveilleux séjour. Une tranquillité absolue et une vue imprenable

Nous sommes allés en Dordogne pour y chercher du calme, de la verdure et du repos. Et nous avons été servis! La maison est sur une colline, entourée de forêts et de champs avec une vue magnifique. Il est fréquent de voir des animaux, notamment des lapins, autour de la maison et dans les champs alentours. La maison en elle-même est très agréable, tout en pierre et poutres apparentes. Un point a noté cependant est le fait qu’une des chambres doit être traversée pour accéder à une autre et est de ce fait pas tout à fait intime. Cela ne nous a pas gêné personnellement car nous étions en famille. Le jardin est très beau et très zen et la piscine grande et profonde. La propriété est comme coupée du monde mais est en réalité proche de beaucoup de sites à découvrir absolument. Quelle belle région! Je recommande donc vivement cette endroit magique et y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

A really lovely welcoming French farm house just right for a truly relaxing holiday.

We had a wonderful relaxing 2 weeks in this lovely farm house with the garden. The swimming pool had beautiful water that was a treat to swim in every day. There was plenty to do right on our doorstep so we had a great mixture of seeing the sights and enjoying the lovely pool,garden and terrace the rest of the day. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful property! most stunning tranquil location.

Just returned after 3 weeks of total bliss in the most peaceful location. Our party consisted of 2 adults, 4 children (aged 1 to 18 years ) and one dog. The property is perfectly located with caves, castles etc within 30min drive. We tended to go to a local village (le bugue) which is about 15 min drive away and has a good size intermarche but also a leader price, aldi and lidl amongst other shops. The owner, Franziska, put together a folder with contact details of local services and a full list of weekly Markets in the area which was very handy. There was also another folder with lots of leaflets about attractions in the dordogne. Franziska is very helpful and speaks perfect english. Laudinie is a traditional, french, rustic farmhouse at its best. A gate leads to the charming enclosed court yard and the large garden is also fully fenced in with plenty of shaded spots which was perfect for our dog.The kitchen is entered via the courtyard, full of character and equipt with everything you would need. To the right of the kitchen is the big family bathroom and to the left is the lounge with a door leading to the big terrace which has stunning views and steps to the massive swimming pool. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom accessed via the courtyard. The beds are really comfortable and to my wifes delight came with proper duvets and not just your usual "paper sheets". The house has Wifi and a big flat screen TV with french, german and also plenty of english channels including cbbc and cbeebies. Thanks to the perfect layout our teenagers could enjoy the pool, our little one could get a rest from the sun watching the tubbies, playing with the available trainset or Lego, and my wife and I could relax on the terrace keeping an eye on all of them at the same time. It is also worth staying up that little bit longer to enjoy the night sky with its thousands of stars and listening to the owls. If you are looking for a super clean, traditional, beautiful farmhouse in the most peaceful location than Laudinie is the place for you. We will definately be returning.

Tolles Haus. Vor Ort noch schöner, als die Bilder zeigen. Es strahlt soviel Wärme aus. Wunderbar!

C’est la France. Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen auf Laudinie verbracht. Ein tolles Haus, eindrucksvoll restauriert mit vielen liebenswerten Details, innen wie außen. Der Pool ist riesig, toll! Wir und unsere Kinder fanden in Klasse, genossen ihn jeden Tag, die Betten bequem und großzügig, die Küche bestens ausgestattet, das große Bad gefiel uns gut und mit nur einer Toilette hatten wir kein Problem. Dazu dieser wunderbare Ort, ruhig, romantisch und doch mitten im Perigord. Es stellt sich sehr schnell ein phantastisches Gefühl von Urlaub und Freiheit ein. Vielen Dank, Franziska, du bist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Immer ansprechbar, tolerant, liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit. Wir sehen uns wieder. Alles Gute und und Au Revoir.

Vermieterin, Haus, Umgebung - alles prima!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche Ende Mai 2018 bei Franziska im Perigord. Schon die Kommunikation vorab war super und wir wurden sehr freundlich vor Ort von Franziska begrüßt. Das Haus, der große Pool und vor allem die herrliche Lage waren für uns perfekt. Mit 7 Personen plus Hund hatten wir ausreichend Platz und konnten die sonnige Terrasse und den großen Garten genießen. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft war sehr gut (inklusive Fahrräder, Grill, W-LAN....), wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig, allerdings sind es zum nächsten Bäcker/Supermarkt ca. 5 km, was aber kein Problem war. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus ohne Bedenken empfehlen!

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage im traumhaften Laudinie verbracht. Das Landhaus ist wirklich traumhaft gelegen. Viel Ruhe und Natur, ideal zum Ausspannen und Energie tanken! Sehr hilfsbereite und kompetente Gastgeberin. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder und können Laudinie wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
