"This is a beautiful property on the beachfront. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Food plentiful and delicious and nightly entertainment available but alternative eating venue available if a quiet meal wanted. Bus and taxis available and small supermarket and shops in walking distance. Only small difficulty was that they were not terribly familiar with Australian currency so difficult to change money on site and taxi drivers only accepted cash"

"We spent 5 nights in this hotel, we booked a very spacious sea view room with huge nice bathroom. A fairly well-stocked sweet breakfast, not exceptional; for those who like savory, there wasn't much choice. Restaurants nearby. Crossing the road you find the famous beach of Flic en flac. The only flaw is that if you arrive on the weekend the locals flock to the beach all day, from the sunset until late they listen to very loud music from their cars😬. ( you can listen them form the rooms) instead for the other days of the week, there aren’t many people on the streets."

"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."

"The apartment was wonderful! Everything was in top notch condition. Nico was a most excellent host! Always available for my many questions. We always felt safe there. It was within walking distance of the supermarket, vegetable seller and beach. Thank you Nico for a most excellent stay!"

"Older property showing some signs of wear and tear. Spacious room with great balcony and privacy. Right on the beach. Restaurant, pool and entertainment area can be noisy at night, so request a room away from that for a quiet stay. Buffet meals were plentiful, reasonable quality and variety. A number of restaurants within walking distance and small Carrefour. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made it a pleasant stay."
