Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your legs and ankles moving and wearing compression socks to help improve your circulation.

The trick is to be well organised before you reach the security gate. That way, you'll be stepping onto that plane to Lake Clear in next to no time. Follow these helpful tips and get your trip off to a flying start:

• Airport security personnel first need to make sure that you have a valid passport and matching travel documents before anything else. Have them ready to show.
